<p>We are looking for an enthusiastic student to join the EA SPORTS Franchise Activation team, supporting the team in launching EA SPORTS F1&#39;s next title. You&#39;ll gain hands-on experience in marketing activations within the video game industry, working with a small but dynamic team to deliver campaigns for one of the world&#39;s most exciting sports entertainment franchises. This role is perfect for someone passionate about motorsport, gaming, and building a career in marketing.</p>
<p>Responsibilities:</p>
<ul>
<li>Help coordinate global campaigns for EA SPORTS Formula One</li>
<li>Work with Creative, Production, Digital Merchandising and Paid Media teams to help deliver impactful campaigns</li>
<li>Support market research, competitor analysis, and industry trend monitoring to support recommendations</li>
<li>Aid in campaign reporting, performance analysis, and presentation development</li>
<li>Contribute creative ideas to projects and team meetings</li>
<li>Provide general administrative and project management support</li>
</ul>
<p>Eligibility:</p>
<ul>
<li>Currently studying in the penultimate year of undergraduate bachelor degree with a planned placement year</li>
<li>Available to commence a full-time 12 month placement in July 2026</li>
<li>Eligible to work in the UK without additional visa or relocation support</li>
<li>Available to work from a minimum of 3 days onsite (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)</li>

<p>The first American Formula 1 team to compete in the sport since 1986, TGR Haas F1 Team made an immediate impression with a memorable points-scoring debut at the 2016 Australian Grand Prix. Ten years later, the team is still building momentum, guided by clear objectives and technical partnerships, and fresh from securing its second biggest points haul in a Formula 1 season.</p>

<p>General Summary:</p>
<p>This position reports to the Chief Designer or their designee; it is located in Maranello, Italy. Responsible for leading the Systems Design group, and for interacting and communicating with Department Managers, other DO groups, and the Aero and Vehicle Dynamics Department to achieve the best car development in terms of performance, quality, and reliability.</p>
<p>General Responsibilities:</p>
<ul>
<li>Promote teamwork and effective communications to develop trustworthy relationships between all personnel and departments.</li>
<li>Responsible for the overall performance of the department, ensuring targets and milestones are achieved.</li>
<li>Manage department personnel from recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement through to separation.</li>
<li>Mentor, train and guide personnel as required. Develop staff using effective performance reviews and development plans.</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned by the Chief Designer or their designee.</li>
</ul>
<p>Key Responsibilities:</p>
<ul>
<li>Oversee and design components through solid modeling, surface modeling, and 2D drawing, with the aim of obtaining high-performance, reliable solutions and optimized sizing.</li>
<li>Provide leadership and guidance to the engineers within the working group, in accordance with the tasks assigned to the group.</li>
<li>The perimeter of Systems Design includes the fuel system, the cooling system, the hydraulic system, the brake system, power unit installation including related heat shielding, internal body, on-car test parts (e.g. Rakes), off-car test parts (e.g. pull down rigs) and pit stop equipment.</li>
<li>Follow all safety regulations in all venues.</li>
<li>Oversee the ad hoc projects as assigned.</li>
</ul>
<p>Education and Work Experience:</p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor&#39;s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical engineering or a related field.</li>
<li>Extensive experience in systems and mechanical design within the motorsport industry, preferably in Formula One.</li>
<li>A good working knowledge of composite design and material manufacturing is required.</li>
<li>Significant experience in system and mechanical design within high‑performance motorsport, with a minimum of 10 years of experience including work on complex engineering projects, ideally gained in Formula One</li>
<li>Five years of leadership experience.</li>
</ul>
<p>Specialized Knowledge and Skills:</p>
<ul>
<li>Ability to supervise others, communicate effectively, and liaise with fellow workers to get desired results.</li>
<li>Capable of working in a team environment to a very high standard and a positive work attitude.</li>
<li>Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools.</li>
<li>Strong communication skills, written and verbal.</li>
<li>Have an excellent understanding of English language.</li>
<li>Strong technical background in racing cars.</li>
<li>Have an excellent understanding of F1 systems and experience in designing and optimizing thermal management systems for powertrain components.</li>
<li>Knowledge of advanced materials, such as composites and lightweight alloys, and their application in high-performance automotive engineering.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of GD&amp;T (Geometric Dimensioning &amp; Tolerancing).</li>
<li>Ability to manage complex projects adhering to tight timelines.</li>
<li>Work to consistently high standards in stressful and time sensitive situations.</li>
<li>Quick decision-making skills whilst working through problems in a scientific and analytical way.</li>
<li>Work well within a team environment with personnel at all levels.</li>

<p>Equipment and Applications:</p>
<ul>
<li>CAD Software: Proficiency in using CAD software such as 3DX, CATIA or Siemens NX for designing and modeling mechanical components.</li>
<li>Manufacturing Tools: Understanding of advanced manufacturing tools and techniques, including CNC machining, 3D printing, and composite layup processes.</li>
<li>Basic knowledge of Telemetry software (preferably Atlas).</li>
</ul>
<p>Work Environment Physical Demands:</p>
<p>An ability to work and prioritize within a high pressure, time sensitive environment while retaining a methodical approach is essential. The role may require occasional domestic, and international travel and a willingness to work long and flexible hours including weekends.</p>
<p>This position may require lifting to 50 pounds, repeated bending, squatting and manual dexterity. Fast-paced work environment requiring heavy mental demands. Work environment includes machinery, race cars, 7-post and other rigs, grinding debris, and hazardous fluids. All employees must ensure compliance with the Company Health and Safety Policy, and all relevant other statutory Health and Safety legislation.</p>
