You will play a key role in delivering our Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs) to our customers by working hands-on with our engineering team in a multi-disciplinary environment to scale our AUV production globally.</p>\n<p>This will require hands-on work on hardware in a number of areas: composite and metallic structural fabrication and integration, electronic component fabrication &amp; install onto structures, and software loading and full system checkouts. This also includes standing up our production line for Dive-XL in our Quonset facility.</p>\n<p>As a Lead Production Technician, you will report to the Manager, Production Operations and work alongside other manufacturing/electrical/test technicians, leading technician staff in the production and delivery of AUVs through testing. You will apply a higher level of knowledge and skills in hardware assembly, troubleshooting and repair. You will ensure all operators are following safety procedures and standard work tasks. You will improve work area safety and efficiency through regular auditing and constant scrutiny.</p>\n<p>You will prioritize work activities for operators to achieve target on time delivery goals. You will handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines. You will ensure they are working on the right thing at the right time. You will apply competency in use of hand tools, assembly tooling and general manufacturing equipment. You will utilize reading and comprehension skills to follow documented build instructions.</p>\n<p>You will be an active participant in 5S and continuous improvement activities. You will provide feedback on ways to improve building process. You will complete transactions in computer production systems (MES, NetSuite, JIRA, SQL, Tableau) on daily basis.
