<p>Your main responsibilities will include: Collaborating with the product management team to drive ideation of new features and systems. Leading the design and development of features from concept through launch and iteration, ensuring they align with product goals and design direction. Defining clear design objectives, player value, and success criteria for features, using these to guide development and evaluate outcomes post-launch. Creating and maintaining clear, efficient, and legible feature documentation. Guiding feature development through implementation, collaborating closely with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure quality execution. Reviewing and providing feedback on design output within the feature design team, helping to maintain high standards of design quality, communication, and delivery. Supporting and mentoring designers within the team, helping them to develop their skills and improve their work. Helping to prioritise feature development in collaboration with product management and production. Using player behaviour, feedback, and data insights to evaluate feature performance and inform iteration, optimisation, and design decisions. Helping to establish and maintain strong design practices across the feature team.</p>
<p>To succeed in this role, you will need: A minimum of 5 years&#39; experience working in a game development studio. Experience working on live games with a proven track record of owning and delivering multiple features or systems within the constraints of a release schedule. Strong experience designing features and systems for mobile free-to-play live service games. Experience leading, mentoring, or guiding other designers and helping to improve team output. Strong experience designing and balancing game systems and economies, supported by excellent Excel skills. Strong understanding of analytics, KPIs, and success metrics, and how they can be used to support design decisions, evaluate feature performance, and drive optimisation. Technical skills and knowledge of game development tools, including Confluence and JIRA. Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design goals, trade-offs, and requirements across disciplines. Ability to review work, provide clear feedback, and maintain a high bar for design quality. Experience working collaboratively across product, production, art, and development disciplines to drive feature outcomes.</p>

      <Description><![CDATA[<p>Electronic Arts creates next-level entertainment experiences that inspire players and fans around the world. As a Game Designer, you will work directly on the team responsible for writing and product owning feature designs for upcoming releases. You will collaborate with designers, producers, programmers, artists, and other cross-functional members of game development teams to oversee design vision and implementation. Your responsibilities will include leading the creation of features and programs to engage users and meet KPI goals, developing the vision and leading a set of features or a large subsection of the game or of the live service, and working with PMs on qualitative and quantitative metrics to help support and guide feature direction.</p>
<p>You will use the combination of data insights, user research, and design intuition to design features that grow the live services of our games. You will support the creative vision as set by the Creative Director and Product Managers and establish a depth of knowledge across existing systems, being able to oversee the entire suite of live service features and train/support junior members of the team on them.</p>
<p>You will determine experience goals for designs, and tune features to meet those goals. You will be an active member of the development team using inclusive collaborative frameworks with diverse teams to decide on goals and establish the stories players want to tell within a given release.</p>
<p>You will collaborate with all team disciplines, including artists, testers, economy, engineers, and producers to get support from the team and guide a project from initial design to final production. You will become an expert on the game and our community, drawing from our large, varied player base and our past games to make and defend intelligent design choices going forward.</p>
