<p>This role requires a compliance expert who is fluent in both crypto regulations and commercial reality. You will need to be comfortable straddling the worlds of technology and finance every day, moving quickly in the face of ambiguity to help scale our crypto/stablecoin business globally.</p>
<p>We are looking for someone with 5+ years of experience in financial crimes compliance, with significant time spent specifically in the crypto and stablecoin space. You should have experience evaluating complex user requests for compliance risk and working with business stakeholders to implement creative solutions to enable users while meeting compliance requirements.</p>

      <Description><![CDATA[<p>We are looking for a team member to join our Capital Markets Data Services (CMDS) team within the Data Integrity Group (DIG) in Edinburgh. This team is part of the Aladdin Data organization within Aladdin. The core focus of CMDS is to provide consistent, high-quality data capture related to public and private new-issue investments, and to ensure timely and accurate dissemination of that data to various downstream consumers and systems.</p>
<p>This role offers broad exposure to the operational aspects of both public and private new-issue markets, including private credit, private equity, hedge funds, SPACs, structured products, and other non-traditional investment types. Qualified candidates will demonstrate existing knowledge of — or enthusiasm to learn — alternative investments, as well as the essential data required to manage them.</p>
<p>Responsibilities:</p>
<p><strong>New Issue Investment Setup &amp; Onboarding</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Provide onboarding support for the data capture of alternative products and investment types, including sourcing data from legal documents, fund administrators, agents, and third-party partners, and coordinating input into internal systems such as Aladdin, eFront, and Unqork.</li>
<li>Assist in the onboarding lifecycle for alternative investments, with exposure to investment/trade setup, cash management, valuation inputs, and PnL recognition, as well as reconciliation processes and related system implementations.</li>
<li>Partner with investment teams, GAAPS, Fund Accounting, and Implementations to ensure accurate setup of new private credit and private equity holdings.</li>
<li>Support Blackrock Global Markets team within the new issue space, including trade allocation and booking within Aladdin.</li>

<p><strong>Data Quality, Reconciliation &amp; Controls</strong></p>

<li>Support data quality initiatives, including security-level reconciliation, review of loan and bond attributes, internal rating validations, and resolution of operational or data exceptions.</li>

<p><strong>Experience and Required Skills</strong></p>
<p>Ideal candidates will have:</p>
