DevOps","description":"<p>As Scale&#39;s product portfolio and customer base expand, we are seeking skilled Site Reliability Engineers to manage and maintain our physical infrastructure, including robot stations, servers, computers, and network installations.</p>\n<p>You will play a crucial role in ensuring our on-site technical facilities operate smoothly while coordinating resource usage and providing hands-on support to remote engineering teams.</p>\n<p>These engineers will gain a deep understanding of our physical infrastructure and technical facilities, enabling them to effectively install, configure, and maintain critical systems when needed.</p>\n<p>A critical aspect of this role will be coordinating access to shared technical resources and serving as the on-site point of contact for remote engineers who need physical changes performed, transforming currently manual coordination processes into a more streamlined and efficient workflow.</p>\n<p>Responsibilities:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Install, configure, and maintain robot stations and related technical equipment on-site.</li>\n<li>Manage and maintain server infrastructure, workstations, and computing equipment in our facilities.</li>\n<li>Oversee network installations, including routers and cabling infrastructure.</li>\n<li>Coordinate access to technical facilities, maintaining schedules and ensuring orderly usage of shared resources.</li>\n<li>Establish and enforce safety protocols and usage guidelines for technical facilities.</li>\n<li>Provide hands-on support to remote engineers, performing physical changes and configurations as requested.</li>\n<li>Troubleshoot hardware, network, and connectivity issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.</li>\n<li>Document infrastructure configurations, changes, and maintenance procedures to ensure maintainability and knowledge transfer.</li>\n<li>Proactively identify maintenance needs and capacity constraints to prevent issues before they arise.</li>\n<li>Drive standardization and foster collaboration across different teams to achieve efficient facility usage.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Ideally you&#39;d have:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>5+ years of experience as an IT Technician, Field Engineer, Facilities Technician, or similar hands-on technical role.</li>\n<li>Proven track record of installing and maintaining server hardware and workstations.</li>\n<li>Experience configuring and troubleshooting network infrastructure and physical installation work.</li>\n<li>Experience coordinating shared resources or facilities, managing schedules and access.</li>\n<li>Familiarity with Linux, Windows and MacOS.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of Python/C++, scripting, and command line (cmd/bash) operations.</li>\n<li>Basic understanding of electrical systems for robot stations and equipment.</li>\n<li>Comfort with rapidly changing, fast-paced environments and a passion for finding solutions to complex physical infrastructure problems.</li>\n<li>Basic understanding of safety protocols and an eagerness to integrate them into facility operations.</li>\n<li>A hunger for learning new technologies, particularly in the realm of robotics and automated systems.</li>\n<li>Strong problem-solving, analytical, collaboration, and communication skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Nice to haves:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience with robotics systems or automated equipment.</li>\n<li>Exposure to industrial charging systems or battery management systems.</li>\n<li>Prior experience in facility
