\nKey responsibilities include:
\nAligning wine service standards with voyage service score targets in partnership with the Director of Restaurant Operations and the Beverage Manager. Personally greeting VIP and Suite guests within 24 hours of boarding, providing expert wine recommendations and hosting curated tasting events and wine dinners. Identifying wine enthusiasts early in the voyage and coordinating tailored experiences with Sommeliers and Restaurant Servers. Leading the integration of Princess MedallionClass technology within the Sommelier team to enhance personalized service. Mentoring and guiding the Sommelier team, ensuring consistent delivery of guest-focused service. Strategically deploying Sommeliers in high-traffic and specialty dining venues during peak service hours. Conducting structured performance reviews, providing constructive feedback, and ensuring adherence to company policies and CRUISE Service Essentials. Tracking market trends and guest preferences to develop innovative wine programs and tasting events, leveraging slow-moving or regional stock. Taking an active lead in executing signature events such as the Frescobaldi Dinner and Sanctuary Class wine programs on Sphere Class vessels. Collaborating with Hotel Inventory Manager, Provision Master, and Beverage Manager to manage wine inventory strategically. Monitoring daily wine sales performance and providing detailed reporting to leadership. Ensuring accurate inventory counts, investigating discrepancies, and maintaining par levels across all service areas. Developing depletion plans for aged or slow-moving wines while maintaining cost efficiency. Overseeing timely and accurate submission of all required reports to the Director of Restaurant Operations and Corporate Office. Ensuring compliance with company protocols for wine service, stock control, and POS system usage.
