The successful candidate will meet job timescales and demands, whilst completing jobs to the highest of standards.</p>\n<p>Key Accountabilities:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Final preparation of various patterns, moulds and castings</li>\n<li>Using a variety of hand tools, small air tools and abrasive paper to a high standard</li>\n<li>Lone working</li>\n<li>Checking information on drawings is clear</li>\n<li>Checking route card instructions are correct</li>\n<li>Help develop processes to improve quality and efficiency</li>\n<li>Keep all equipment maintained</li>\n<li>Ensure the department is kept clean and tidy</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Knowledge, Skills, Experience:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to read engineering drawings would be an advantage but not essential</li>\n<li>Excellent attention to detail is essential</li>\n<li>Excellent accuracy level</li>\n<li>Constant awareness of health and safety</li>\n<li>Good verbal communication and listening skills</li>\n<li>Ability to listen to and follow instructions</li>\n<li>Ability to work to tight deadlines</li>\n<li>Ability to remain calm under pressure</li>\n<li>Used to working in a fast-moving environment</li>\n<li>Flexible</li>\n<li>Problem-solving skills</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Hours of Work: The job holder will work 08.00 – 16.30, Monday to Friday with a 30-minute lunch break.
