      <Description><![CDATA[<p>We are seeking an ambitious and collaborative Environmental Engineer to join the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) team to support the development and operation of Saronic&#39;s Port Alpha shipyard. This role will serve as the on-site environmental lead responsible for environmental due diligence, permitting, monitoring, and compliance across all phases of site development and shipyard operations.</p>
<p>The Environmental Engineer will support the transition of a coastal site into a fully operational shipyard, which may include greenfield development, redevelopment of previously used industrial properties, or brownfield remediation. In addition, this role will oversee environmental compliance programs related to air quality, water quality, stormwater management, hazardous waste, and hazardous materials, while supporting environmental monitoring and regulatory reporting.</p>
<p>The Environmental Engineer will partner with engineering, construction, and operations teams to reduce environmental risk and ensure regulatory compliance during the development and operation of Port Alpha.</p>
<p>Responsibilities:</p>
<p>Environmental Due Diligence &amp; Site Assessments</p>
