<p>Reporting to the Manager of Technical Documentation, you will work closely with a global network of engineers, product managers, and developer success professionals to understand real-world use cases for identity and access management. <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Design, develop, edit, and deliver accurate and effective developer documentation for Okta products.</li>
<li>Work closely with Engineering, Product Management, QA, Support, and members of the Information Development team to ensure quality and accuracy of content.</li>
<li>Follow our documentation guidelines to produce high quality documentation.</li>
<li>Prioritize projects when working with multiple engineering teams.</li>
<li>Collaborate with developers to review API documentation.</li>
<li>Analyze customer feedback before and after delivering documentation to enhance content depth, quality, and relevance.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Minimum 4 years relevant experience writing documentation for Cloud or Enterprise products.</li>
<li>Bachelor’s degree or certificate in Technical Writing is preferred.</li>
<li>Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment.</li>
<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li>
<li>Experience writing SDK, CLI, or developer tools documentation.</li>
<li>Experience writing developer documentation and release notes.</li>
<li>Experience with Markdown, Visual Studio Code, Acrolinx, and source control tools such as Git and GitHub.</li>
<li>Familiarity working with Jira and Confluence.</li>
<li>Collaboration skills with other writers.</li>
</ul>
<p>And extra credit if you have experience in any of the following!</p>
<ul>
<li>Strong ability to understand the application of security products in the real world and produce use case-based content.</li>
<li>Knowledge of Okta or similar identity and access management solutions.</li>
<li>Experience with DITA, OpenAPI, and Redocly.</li>
