<p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p>
<p>As an Applications Engineer on our QuantumATK team, you will provide high-quality scientific and technical support to customers using QuantumATK, a leading software platform for atomic-scale materials modeling and simulation. You will partner with internal stakeholders and customers in high-tech industries to understand use cases, troubleshoot issues, and drive successful outcomes.</p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Provide high-quality scientific and technical support to customers using QuantumATK</li>
<li>Partner with internal stakeholders and customers in high-tech industries (semiconductors, automotive, energy, etc.) to understand use cases, troubleshoot issues, and drive successful outcomes</li>
<li>Develop and maintain application examples, workflows, and best-practice guides</li>
<li>Collaborate with R&amp;D and product teams by bringing customer needs and feedback into roadmap and feature discussions</li>
<li>Contribute to enablement activities such as webinars and training</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Requirements</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Solid foundation in solid-state physics and/or chemistry: A degree in physics, chemistry, materials science, or a related field</li>
<li>Strong background in atomic-scale materials modeling and simulation</li>
<li>Practical Python skills for scripting, analysis, and workflow automation</li>
<li>Proficiency communicating complex technical topics in English (written and verbal)</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Nice to Have</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Experience working directly with industrial customers in a technical role (support, field, pre-sales, or similar)</li>
<li>Track record of building reusable examples, tutorials, or scientific software workflows</li>
</ul>
