\nIn this role, you'll:
\nWork on the operation and maintenance of complex engineering systems, ensuring that work is completed to the acceptable standards within the agreed timescales and with no disruption to IT Services along with resolving operational issues ensuring the integrity of the infrastructure is maintained in support of IT Services.
\nImplement effective emergency operating procedures to ensure system recovery is achieved with minimum impact to services, escalating and raising awareness as appropriate.
\nSchedule and manage the planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance of engineering systems and infrastructure, whilst ensuring work is completed within agreed timescales and to expected quality.
\nSupport the other dimensions of the role include the scheduling and execution of all required infrastructure installations required to support IT Hardware and Equipment.
\nImprove service quality, by continuously reviewing and enhancing methods of operation and maintenance, effectively utilising tools and system employed with the Group Data Centre.
\nEnsure current Health & Safety legislation and statutory requirements are met by implementing and developing safe working standards and procedures within the department.
\nTo be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
