As a Senior Drilling Engineer, you will be responsible for providing engineering expertise to support the delivery of well engineering activities that meet business objectives. This includes reviewing and providing quality assurance for engineering tasks and documentation, performing a lead technical assurance role during the Well Concept Selection, Detailed Design &amp; Execute phases of well delivery, and supporting the technical quality, risk management, design and concept optimization as well as coaching and mentoring junior engineers in developing technical and non-technical skills.</p>\n<p>Key responsibilities include:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Identifying well control and process safety risks and ensuring mitigations in well design / operations plans.</li>\n<li>Ensuring management of field-level Risk Register and development of well-specific Risk Registers including completeness and relevant preventions / mitigations.</li>\n<li>Ensuring effective discussion of risks, preventions, and mitigations during procedural reviews.</li>\n<li>Supporting Management of Change / Deviations by supporting/facilitating Risk Assessments and ensuring emerging risks are properly addressed.</li>\n<li>Reviews well design, permitting, and operations while assuring compliance with local regulations and conformance with Bp practices.</li>\n<li>Supports HSE initiative through engineering choices eg Red Zone management reduction, well designs</li>\n</ul>\n<p>In addition, you will:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Review optimal well plans with – coordinates with subsurface team and region operations team to safely, efficiently execute DGOP and deliver well objectives.</li>\n<li>Leads Engineering Self-Verification and Oversight activities and collect insights and actions applicable to TSI engineers.</li>\n<li>Right scoping for optimum well design or development plan in front end planning.</li>\n<li>Leads multidisciplinary team during Detailed Design &amp; Execute phases for Pune based squads.</li>\n<li>Using the region wells work management tools, agile ways of working and digital tools to improve efficiency and perform quality oversight of engineers’ deliverables</li>\n<li>Reviews well specific technical design documents and procedures (i.e. SoR, BoDs, DGOPs, WWIs, engineering modelling, procedures, etc.).</li>\n<li>Supports time, cost estimating, cost monitoring during execution if applicable.</li>\n<li>Manages knowledge content: lessons learnt, best practices, case histories, SITs etc. using the relevant tools and databases.</li>\n<li>Participates in incident investigations and oversee the ESQ2 process.</li>\n<li>Provides engineering technical support and review of contractor services including new technologies.</li>\n<li>Contributes into continuous improvement projects, optimizes drilling performance and seeks new and more efficient ways to improve drilling performance.</li>\n<li>Assures reliability / integrity via participation in equipment assurance and QA/QC documentation.</li>\n<li>Ensures timely and accurate approval of well handover documentation if applicable.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>As a Senior Drilling Engineer, you will also be expected to:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Function as a role model for V&amp;Bs and ethics and compliance through words, actions, and decisions.</li>\n<li>Promote Diversity, Equity &amp;
