We are seeking a Software Engineer responsible for designing, writing, and deploying software on a variety of complex systems, including autonomous platforms and edge devices.
\nYou will work on a diverse range of technical challenges, from autonomy and navigation to systems integration and controls.
\nResponsibilities:
\nDesign and develop software for autonomous systems and edge devices, including navigation, perception, control, and networking
\nDesign APIs and system interfaces for integrating onboard hardware, sensors, and cloud services
\nCollaborate with robotics, electrical, and mechanical engineers to deliver functional prototypes quickly
\nSupport and participate in regular field testing and/or Government demonstrations
\nQualifications:
\nExperience building complex systems, including autonomous platforms and edge devices
\nUnderstanding of autonomous systems, path planning, sensor fusion, or controls
\nStrong programming skills in Python, C++, and/or Rust
\nExperience with robotics frameworks (e.g., ROS/ROS2) or real-time embedded systems
\nExperience with embedded Linux systems and embedded software development
\nExperience with low-level serial protocols (e.g., RS-232, CAN)
\nExperience with hardware-in-the-loop testing and embedded debugging
\nExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
\nStrong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
