The Team:

This role sits within the EMEA Client Marketing team and is central to ensuring EMEA marketing activity is measurable, targeted, and commercially impactful. As a central function, EMEA Client Marketing partners closely with various business units to translate regional and country priorities into scaled, data-driven marketing campaigns that build brand and product awareness, consideration and leads across priority professional client segments.

Role and Impact:

By delivering high-quality analysis, client segmentation, and performance reporting, the individual will translate data into meaningful insights that align marketing efforts with business priorities. We are seeking someone who combines strong analytical capability with commercial acumen,able to interpret data, generate clear, actionable insights, and communicate them compellingly to stakeholders across the business.

Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end marketing data across CRM, Snowflake, and other MarTech platforms, ensuring data accuracy, governance, privacy, and compliance standards are upheld

• Conduct advanced analysis and segmentation to support audience targeting, personalization, and data-driven decision-making across campaigns, events, and digital channels

• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions to track key marketing KPIs, including lead generation, client engagement, campaign performance, and multi-touch pipeline attribution

• Foster a data-led marketing culture by aligning activity to client needs and ensuring data integrity across CRM and marketing systems

• Partner with Sales Management, COO teams, and regional marketing leads to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver actionable insights

Core Skills:

• Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities, with the ability to interpret complex datasets and align marketing activity to measurable business outcomes

• Proficiency in Power BI, SQL, Excel, and PowerPoint, with a solid understanding of marketing performance metrics, funnel KPIs, and pipeline attribution

• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail, able to operate effectively in a fast-paced, international matrix environment while managing multiple initiatives concurrently

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of experience in data analysis or marketing analytics

• Experience with Snowflake and CRM platforms (Microsoft Dynamics preferred)

Desirable:

• Familiarity with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and Eloqua

• Knowledge of data governance frameworks and privacy compliance requirements

• Experience with Python for data manipulation, automation, or integrations

About this role

BlackRock is looking for a data engineer to join the Digital Data Engineering team. In this role, you will help develop data integrations between BlackRock’s internal data systems and our external marketing technology platforms. You will work with business partners to develop data structures, build ETL pipelines, and implement appropriate data governance and monitoring.

As part of BlackRock’s Digital organization, this role supports our mission to create AI-enabled, personalized and scalable marketing experiences. You will build the data foundations that power next generation digital platforms, audience personalization, and intelligent activation across a global ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable data pipelines that support AI-enabled digital experiences, personalization, and marketing automation.
• Leverage AI-driven development and testing tools to increase engineering quality, speed, and reliability.
• Contribute to ongoing platform modernization efforts across Martech, content, analytics, and web ecosystems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure data is structured and governed in ways that accelerate downstream personalization and analytics use cases.
• Architect and develop data solutions to bring new datasets into digital ecosystem including Private Markets data and product data.

Core Skills

• You have flawless written and verbal communication and ability to gain buy-in on plans from a non-technical audience
• You have experience working with a broad set of stakeholders, including non-technical and non-quantitative people.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in in SQL and Python, with experience in both RDBMS and Big Data structures. Existing experience with Snowflake-specific concepts is desirable.
• Familiarity with using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., code generation, code review, unit test development) to improve quality and delivery efficiency.
• ETL and pipeline development experience with Airflow and DBT is a plus.
• CI/CD experience with Azure and understanding of API frameworks is a plus.
• B.S. / M.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Knowledge of Marketing technology platforms is desirable, but not required (e.g., Eloqua/Marketo, web analytics platforms, customer data platforms).
• Relentless desire for understanding how processes work. Creativity in solving unconventional problems.
• Adaptability and resiliency when overcoming challenges.
