These are paid, in-person, 12-week internships based out of Costa Mesa, CA, Irvine, CA.</p>\n<p>As an Electrical Engineering Intern, you will design electronics from concept to functional prototype, including hardware selection, PCB design, and system level integration. You will also troubleshoot issues that span the electrical and software boundaries, with solid skills using both lab equipment (oscilloscopes, DMM, etc.) and software debugging tools.</p>\n<p>You will develop low-level firmware/software for microcontrollers, embedded Linux systems, and supporting development &amp; testing tools. You will work closely with other electrical, mechanical, software, firmware, and test engineers to deliver fully functional products.</p>\n<p>You will work in a fast-paced environment supporting new developments, active deployments, and customer-operated hardware. You will concurrently manage involvement in multiple projects at various stages.</p>\n<p>Required Qualifications:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Pursuing Bachelor&#39;s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.</li>\n<li>Must be a rising senior at the time of their internship and returning to school at the end of their internship to continue their academic studies for at least one quarter/semester.</li>\n<li>U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export-controlled data.</li>\n<li>Ability to complete an in-person 12-week internship in one of our offices.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Preferred Qualifications:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Familiarity with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, debuggers, current-probes, and automation of tests.</li>\n<li>Familiarity with software development processes and tools such as git, Github, JIRA, etc.</li>\n<li>Familiarity with standard interfaces such as Ethernet, CAN, I2C, SPI, PCIe, USB, etc.</li>\n<li>Familiarity with embedded Linux development, including device trees, hardware drivers, bootloaders, and basic Unix/Linux tools.</li>\n<li>Exceptional organization and communication skills (both written and oral).</li>\n<li>Experience with Altium Designer or equivalent electronic design automation tools.</li>\n<li>Proficiency with C/C++ and common languages (Python, Rust, Haskell, etc.)</li>\n</ul>\n<p>US Salary Range: $30-$40 USD</p>\n<p>The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
