      <Description><![CDATA[<p>Join our team as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Shift and play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our plant. As a member of our skilled maintenance team, you&#39;ll work alongside other Electrical and Mechanical Technicians to carry out preventative and reactive maintenance, with a strong focus on reducing operational downtime.</p>
<p>Your core responsibilities will include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Supporting the Engineering Supervisor in the development of other team members&#39; skills and abilities</li>
<li>Maintaining the workplace, tools, and engineering facilities to prevent hazards and risks in the workplace and to promote effective engineering practices</li>
<li>Complying fully with all safety instructions, policies, and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all staff</li>
<li>Supervising a team of contractors where necessary to ensure work carried out is to the required standard</li>
<li>Carrying out problem-solving activities on the plant and machinery to identify faults and rectify them</li>
<li>Conducting Root Cause Analysis activities (RCA) to identify the cause of failures and actions to prevent future failures increasing plant uptime</li>
<li>Proactively identifying potential faults and improvement opportunities on the plant equipment to prevent future failures or to identify more efficient methods of working</li>
</ul>
<p>We&#39;re looking for someone with:</p>
<ul>
<li>NVQ Level 3 or similar qualification in Electrical Engineering; qualified in 16th, 17th, or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671); strong knowledge of electrical maintenance; computer literate with experience using Microsoft Office and email systems</li>
<li>Ability to plan, organise, and prioritise tasks effectively; strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills; able to manage routine and scheduled activities with consistency</li>
<li>Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; committed to working effectively within a team and sharing technical knowledge where required</li>
<li>Strong personal commitment to health and safety; proactive approach to learning new skills and continuous improvement</li>
</ul>
