      <Description><![CDATA[<p>Phillips Commercial division is looking for a Field Service Engineer to deliver imperative maintenance to CNC machinery in Alabama. This role is vital to our customers, ensuring their operations can continue to flow.</p>
<p>In this role, you will be equipped with a van, full set of necessary tools, and a Haas certification to facilitate installation of equipment, investigate, and resolve customer reports of technical problems with equipment, and eliminate future operational or service difficulties.</p>
<p>Responsibilities:</p>
<ul>
<li>Install new or modified equipment at the customer&#39;s facility and ensure full functionality according to specifications.</li>
<li>Analyze, review, and inspect findings to determine the source of problems, and recommend repair, replacement, or other corrective actions.</li>
<li>Coordinate problem resolution with factory or Phillips inside service support to expedite repairs.</li>
<li>Provide on-site technical assistance to help troubleshoot and repair equipment.</li>
<li>Update and complete current incomplete service reports to reflect accurately and completely the work performed.</li>
<li>Provide feedback to the factory to help update and make changes to the service procedure used in troubleshooting and completing repairs to the machine in the field.</li>
<li>Provide a communication link between the customer and the company to help ensure that effective service is provided to the customer.</li>
<li>Conduct training on the safe operations of the equipment and demonstrate skills to trainees, including both team members and customers.</li>
</ul>

<p>Requirements:</p>
<ul>
<li>Experience with maintenance on CNC machines.</li>
<li>Valid driver&#39;s license.</li>
<li>Ability to travel on the road up to 80% of the week with possible overnight stays between Monday - Friday.</li>
<li>A high mechanical aptitude with some electrical knowledge.</li>
<li>Good communication skills and ability to deal with customers professionally.</li>
<li>Ability to keep track of expenses and manage paperwork relating to maintenance completed.</li>
</ul>
