What you'll do

  • Investigate the electrical and electrochemical-thermal behavior of Li-ion battery cells
  • Develop and apply battery cell models (electrical equivalent circuit models and electrochemical-thermal models)
  • Parameterize, analyze, and validate simulation results

What you need

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Chemistry, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, electrochemistry, and thermodynamics
  • Experience with programming languages such as C/C++, Python, or Matlab
  • Familiarity with CAE tools such as COMSOL Multiphysics
