<p>Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field 2+ years of experience vehicle systems engineering, including architecture development, requirement definition, failure mode analysis (DFMEA) and related validation sign-off 2+ years of experience with automotive diagnostics (DTCs, DIDs) Strong learning agility, adaptability, and systems thinking Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills Proven ability to lead and collaborate within cross-functional teams Effective verbal and written communication skills</p>

      <Description><![CDATA[<p>In this position, you will use your technical expertise to make driving safer, easier and better for our customers. The Advance Driver Assistance Technology (ADAS) team develops state-of-the-art software and algorithms to deliver best-in-class features like adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, driver monitoring, and 360 camera systems.</p>
<p>You will lead core design work for ADAS components per the Global Product Development System process on various vehicle programs. Your responsibilities will include providing cost-efficient and quality parts on time, maintaining ownership and governance of component-specific robustness quality documentation (DFMEA, DVP&amp;R, SCCAF, etc.).</p>
<p>You will also lead the Sourcing Process, including investment, piece price, and tooling cost reviews, and prepare initial and final sourcing documents including ESOW, Engineering Specifications, System and Component Requirements. Additionally, you will manage and execute software technical design reviews and releases for prototype, production, and service.</p>
<p>You will lead and perform Failure Mode Avoidance and Functional Safety analyses to examine potential failure modes and design suitable prevention strategies. You will conduct Technical Design Reviews, interfacing with Ford application activities and supplier engineering (software, hardware, mechanical, etc.).</p>
<p>You will lead in the creation and signoff of E/E information like WCCA, Device Transmittals, Specifications, and Electrical Schematics. You will support Vehicle Operations activities to determine appropriate assembly and testing processes.</p>
<p>You will interface with other engineers, Vehicle Engineering, suppliers, and management to ensure compliance with required specifications and efficient critical decision-making.
