<p>Responsibilities:</p>

<li>Experience and Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field, Masters’ degree preferred, 3-5+ years’ experience in expertise, Experience and exposure to Automaker Practices.</li>
<li>Technical: A thorough understanding of Internal Combustion Engines and Powertrain related vehicle systems functionality, A basic understanding of IC engine emissions controls components, After Treatment Systems and functionality.</li>
<li>Powertrain Calibration development experience with achieving automotive tailpipe emissions standards. ~~~~ OBD Calibration to achieve automotive OBD requirements:</li>
<li>Monitors</li>
<li>CCM</li>
<li>Catalyst</li>
<li>Misfire</li>
<li>EGR</li>
<li>AFRIM</li>

<li>OBD Self-Cert Demonstration, Documentation, Statistics and Reporting</li>

<li>In Use Monitor Performance (IUMPR)</li>
<li>Ability to be effective in the following areas:</li>
<li>Powertrain Calibration optimization to meet fuel economy and emissions objectives.</li>
<li>Vehicle development trip support for hot weather, cold weather and high altitude.</li>
<li>Ability to operate effectively in a professional testing environment.</li>
