These websites serve around 4 million individual visits per month, providing comprehensive data about our investment funds on more than 190 000 so-called product pages, enable roughly thousands of updates of web content and roughly 10 000 document uploads daily, as well as provide authentication for close to a million registered users globally.</p>\n<p>As a Data Operations Engineer, you will be:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Taking part of daily operations, ensuring seamless and timely data flow to our product pages</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Identifying opportunities to enhance our data pipelines and alerting mechanisms to ensure smoother data delivery and reduce the number of daily alerts</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaborating with internal and external teams to resolve issues, and to deliver on tactical and strategic initiatives that influence the way data is being managed and delivered</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Apply quality engineering practices through the Software Engineering Life-Cycle</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Contributing to application development across the full software development lifecycle, from design and implementation to testing, deployment, and support</li>\n</ul>\n<p>What You&#39;ll Need:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum 4 years of relevant experience</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to dissect complex systems and always looking for ways to enhance them and the processes around</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong teamwork, interpersonal skills, and time/priority management under pressure</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Hands-on SQL experience</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience with Python for application development, automation, or data processing</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Nice to Have Skills:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience with data integration, ETL processes and tools (Informatica/Databricks).</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Familiarity with data monitoring platforms (Splunk)</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Acquaintance with NoSQL databases</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong knowledge in Git, Maven or Gradle, and Jenkins</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Our benefits</p>\n<p>To help you stay energized, engaged and inspired, we offer a wide range of employee benefits including: retirement investment and tools designed to help you in building a sound financial future; access to education reimbursement; comprehensive resources to support your physical health and emotional well-being; family support programs; and Flexible Time Off (FTO) so you can relax, recharge and be there for the people you care about.</p>\n<p>Our hybrid work model</p>\n<p>BlackRock’s hybrid work model is designed to enable a culture of collaboration and apprenticeship that enriches the experience of our employees, while supporting flexibility for all.
