Job Responsibilities

• Conduct technical problem-solving and diagnostic, repair, and maintenance work
• Troubleshoot and repair electronic faults and complex functional errors
• Collaborate with the workshop team and share technical information
• Optimize diagnostic and repair processes
• Develop alternative diagnostic methods when standard procedures are not effective
• Conduct diagnostics in areas such as engine mechanics, electrical systems, energy and start systems, DME, transmission, suspension and brakes, hybrid and BEV
• Explain diagnostic and repair procedures to customers
• Use all relevant Porsche systems (e.g. PIWIS)

Requirements

• Completed apprenticeship as an automotive mechanic or mechatronics engineer with further training as an automotive diagnostician
• Several years of experience as an automotive diagnostician or diagnostic technician
• Goal-oriented, reliable, and independent work style; proactive and resilient even in hectic situations
• Strong performance, diligence, and customer orientation
• Team player and willing to perform routine mechanical tasks
• Experience in diagnosing electrical, electronic, PHEV, and BEV components and a solid understanding of vehicle electronics and data bus systems
• Qualification as a high-voltage technician for PHEV/BEV
• Valid driving license category B
