      <Description><![CDATA[<p><strong>Job Title: Customs &amp; Logistics Lead</strong></p>
<p>You will manage and oversee customs, duties, and carnets across McLaren Automotive Limited in line with UK, EU, and international standards. This role is responsible for coordinating internal documentation with suppliers and logistics teams to ensure smooth and timely clearance of goods.</p>
<p><strong>Principal Accountabilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Customs &amp; Logistics Coordination: You will act as the primary point of contact for customs-related activities for parts and vehicle shipments.</li>
<li>Ensure full compliance with UK, EU, and international customs regulations, including documentation, classification, and duty management.</li>
<li>Hands-on management of ATA Carnets, including applications, compliance tracking, voucher control, and carnet discharge processes.</li>
<li>Coordinate and track international movements of vehicles and parts, ensuring correct customs documentation, carnet validation, and timely clearance for testing and operational activities.</li>
<li>Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal teams to streamline import/export processes.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate records and reporting for audits and regulatory reviews.</li>
<li>Develop and implement best practices for customs handling and logistics efficiency.</li>
<li>Agree, implement, and manage Statement of Works for all activities with customs brokers.</li>
<li>Apply and manage temporary import documentation, for test activities and other business initiatives.</li>
<li>Responsible for documentation and logistics of air and sea freight transportation</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Knowledge, Skills &amp; Experience:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Proven experience in international customs operations, ideally within the automotive or engineering sector.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of customs regulations (UK/EU/global), including temporary imports for testing purposes.</li>
<li>Experience working in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.</li>
<li>Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills</li>
</ul>

      <Description><![CDATA[<p>This role will lead Global HSN Classification COE Operations for IMG / North America / Europe for Production / Nonproduction, Service parts, Vehicles &amp; ECCN (Export Control Classification Number) &amp; to handle Customs Operations / Compliance for IMG markets.</p>
<p>Responsibilities include leading a team of analysts, managing Global HS Classification &amp; Customs Operations / Trade Compliance for IMG markets, building strong relationships with Internal Legal, Tax &amp; Finance departments, and collecting &amp; sharing market intelligence about global trade scenarios impacting duty rates &amp; classifications.</p>
<p>The role also involves connecting with Global teams, supporting initiatives towards achieving Functional Alignment, focusing on people training, upskilling, developing backups &amp; support on cross-functional assignments, and recognising, rewarding and motivating the team.</p>
<p>Additionally, the role requires periodic review of Global Classifications / Customs Rules across Countries / Report Submission, Permit / License applications, Customs Privileges, to assess right duties / taxes, managing Customs Operations remotely and effectively with special focus on Priorities, duty payments, deliveries tracking with carriers / CHB’s, and coordinating with Tax, Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics function, plant-based teams on various aspects related to Custom Operations, duties, taxes, forecast reviews, budget, etc.</p>
<p>The role also involves FTA Analysis on eligible parts, further study &amp; report out on RVC validation, managing regulatory changes on Rules, trade notices, circulars, notifications with possible impact assessment, and trade incentives, and implementing as required SVB regulations, procedures, Valuation &amp; transfer pricing.</p>
<p>The role requires identifying opportunities to improve trade duty competitiveness, minimise compliance risks, and reduce costs ensuring adhering to statutory rules, overseeing Customs Broker PO utilisation, coordination with Purchase, &amp; Finance for timely renewals, ensuring no delay in document filing and Nil Customs Penalty / incremental cost, and constant focus on Container placements, Inland transportation, vessel connectivity to avoid detention / port demurrage charges.</p>
<p>Controls &amp; Quality include adequacy of controls for all critical classification processes / Customs operations via periodic audit &amp; report out, coordinating closely with external consultants on audits of the classification &amp; implementation of necessary corrective actions till closure, mitigating risks related to cross-border transactions, identifying potential compliance gaps, assessing their impact, and developing strategies to minimise risk exposure.</p>
<p>The role also involves fostering a compliance culture throughout the organisation by emphasising its importance &amp; proactively driving trade compliance to deliver competitiveness E2E, leading Governance / KPI’s reviews on HS Classification &amp; Operations &amp; process improvement, leveraging digital tools for efficient compliance management, understanding customs automation systems, data analytics, and risk assessment software, and leveraging a digitalised and transparent data value chain to regulatory changes and capture trade opportunities.</p>
<p>Technology involves supporting IT requirements for global customs to deploy tools / systems / best business practices, and ability to represent with Customs Officials / Higher authorities on queries, disputes, management of workforce with diverse responsibilities / work locations, and comfortable with handling multi-level of communications and interfaces.</p>
