We are seeking an experienced Regional Marketing Manager to join our team in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a marketing strategy to grow Duolingo's awareness, brand love, and user base in the Arab region.
\nYour primary objective will be to leverage market insights to develop a marketing strategy that drives growth and brand awareness in the MENA region. This will involve operating as a regional growth catalyst, leveraging deep networks across business and government stakeholders to open doors, influence key decision-makers, and drive strategic market expansion.
\nYou will also be responsible for bringing a founder's mindset to identify opportunities, launch new initiatives, and scale regional impact. This will involve hiring and leading agencies or contractors required to deliver the marketing plan, implementing the plan with a focus on social media, partnerships, brand, acquisition campaigns, and PR, and analysing the results of the local marketing efforts and adjusting the plan accordingly.
\nAs a local spokesperson, you will source and manage speaking opportunities in MENA for yourself and relevant executives. You will also be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with global marketing, business development, and product teams in Pittsburgh, New York, London, and country marketing managers around the world.
