      <Description><![CDATA[<p>We&#39;re looking for a strategic and technical Senior Manager, SEO &amp; Organic Growth to own and scale Replit&#39;s organic search presence across traditional search engines, AI-powered platforms, and generative engines. You&#39;ll be responsible for driving qualified traffic and improving discoverability as search evolves beyond Google to include ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, and other AI platforms.</p>
<p>As the first search marketing hire, you&#39;ll work directly with our Head of GTM &amp; Growth Marketing and collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Content, Product Marketing, and Analytics teams. This role requires someone who thrives in 0-to-1 environments and has successfully built search programs that deliver measurable traffic, conversions, and pipeline growth.</p>
<p><strong>In This Role You Will:</strong></p>
<p><strong>Own and scale organic search strategy across SEO, AEO, and GEO</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Lead SEO strategy to improve rankings, visibility, and organic traffic from traditional search engines</li>
<li>Develop Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) strategies to ensure Replit appears prominently in AI-powered search results</li>
<li>Track and optimize performance across all search channels and report on traffic, conversions, and pipeline contribution</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Build search infrastructure and technical foundation from scratch</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Partner with Engineering to implement technical SEO best practices (site architecture, schema markup, Core Web Vitals, crawlability)</li>
<li>Conduct site audits and prioritize technical improvements to enhance search performance</li>
<li>Optimize on-page elements across Replit&#39;s web properties and establish tracking frameworks</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Drive content strategy informed by search insights</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis to identify high-value search opportunities</li>
<li>Collaborate with Content and Product Marketing teams to develop SEO/AEO-optimized content</li>
<li>Identify content gaps and opportunities to capture search demand across the customer journey</li>

<p><strong>Execute cross-functionally and build reporting frameworks</strong></p>

<li>Partner with Product to influence roadmap decisions that impact search performance</li>
<li>Build dashboards tracking organic search performance, AI platform visibility, and conversion metrics</li>
<li>Monitor emerging AI platforms and search technologies to stay ahead of the evolving landscape</li>

<p><strong>What you’ll bring:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li><strong>8+ years of SEO and organic search marketing experience</strong>, with proven expertise in technical SEO, content optimization, and link building strategies</li>
<li><strong>Deep understanding of emerging search paradigms</strong> including Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) for AI platforms</li>
<li><strong>Hands-on experience with SEO tools and platforms</strong> (Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, analytics platforms) and technical SEO implementation</li>
<li><strong>Strong analytical capabilities</strong> – you use data to identify opportunities, prioritize initiatives, and measure impact on traffic, conversions, and pipeline</li>
<li><strong>Experience partnering with Engineering and Product teams</strong> to implement technical SEO improvements and influence product decisions</li>
<li><strong>Proven ability to develop content strategies</strong> informed by search insights and user intent across the funnel</li>
<li><strong>Track record building search programs from zero-to-one</strong> with demonstrated results in traffic growth and conversion improvement</li>
<li>Experience with developer tools, SaaS products, AI-powered platforms, or high-growth tech companies is a plus</li>

<p>The Growth team drives user and revenue growth across ChatGPT’s consumer and business segments worldwide. We operate across the full funnel - from awareness and acquisition through activation, retention, and expansion - using a combination of surface optimizations, in-product funnel improvements, actionable insights, disciplined experimentation, global performance marketing, and AI-powered workflows.</p>
<p><strong>About The Role</strong></p>
<p>We are seeking a full-funnel ‘growth athlete’ with deep expertise in email, notifications, and lifecycle growth initiatives. You will design and scale this motion and associated campaigns across ChatGPT user journeys with rigorous analytical thinking and high-velocity experimentation. This team thrives on rapid testing, precise measurement, and creative problem solving, always keeping user value at the center of our decision-making.</p>
<p>You will own email/notification/lifecycle growth programs end-to-end—from strategy and creative development to deployment, measurement, and iteration. This role is highly cross-functional and will require close collaboration with engineering, product, data science, and design teams to drive engagement, retention, and monetization through these growth levers.</p>
<p>This role is based in San Francisco, CA or New York, NY. We use a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office per week and offer relocation assistance to new employees.</p>
<p><strong>In this role, you will:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Design, launch, and optimize global lifecycle tests and programs (email, push notifications, in-app messaging) to drive activation, engagement, and retention across B2C and B2B segments.</li>
</ul>

<li>Own end-to-end messaging strategy, including audience segmentation, personalized journeys, channel selection, and timing to maximize conversion and long-term value.</li>

<li>Develop testing roadmaps for lifecycle campaigns, running A/B and multivariate experiments to improve open rates, click-through rates, and downstream metrics such as paid conversion, DAU/WAU impact, and LTV.</li>

<li>Partner with product and engineering to enhance messaging infrastructure (event triggers, experimentation tools, data pipelines) and enable sophisticated targeting and automation.</li>

<li>Build and maintain funnel performance dashboards to surface opportunities and guide prioritization.</li>

<li>Collaborate with creative and design teams to craft compelling copy and visuals that reinforce ChatGPT’s brand and value proposition while driving measurable outcomes.</li>

<li>Leverage AI-powered workflows to personalize communications at scale, using predictive models to optimize content, timing, and delivery.</li>

<p><strong>You might thrive in this role if you are/have:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>8+ years of growth experience spanning both consumer (B2C) and business (B2B) products, with a track record of scaling email, push, and in-app messaging platforms and growth initiatives driving activation, engagement, and paid conversion.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Deep expertise in audience segmentation, targeting, and multi-channel orchestration (email, push, in-app, SMS) across self-serve consumer funnels and multi-stakeholder B2B purchase journeys.</li>
