<p>We need to see:</p>
<p>A PhD in computational chemistry, materials science, computer science, or a related field; or equivalent experience.</p>
<p>6+ years of experience in one or more of higher education for machine learning interatomic potentials, generative modeling, and quantum chemistry workflows,</p>
<p>Demonstrated knowledge of the research ecosystem landscape related to AI applications in chemical and materials research.</p>
<p>Outstanding communication abilities with proven experience in conveying a value proposition to both technical and non-technical audiences.</p>
<p>To stand out from the crowd, you should have:</p>
<p>High-impact publications in artificial intelligence applications for chemistry, molecular modeling, or materials discovery.</p>
<p>Experience with CUDA, parallel programming, or performance-focused software development.</p>

      <Description><![CDATA[<p>At Bp, we are seeking an experienced Analytical Chemistry Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping and managing the analytical chemistry team, with a specific focus on modernizing workflows through automation.</p>
<p>The role will oversee a team developing, validating, and implementing analytical methods, managing high-throughput instruments, and ensuring data integrity and compliance with regulatory standards. <li>Design, build, and deployment of high-throughput analytical automation systems (e.g. automated LC-MS, robotics).</li>
<li>Integration of analytical workflows with existing laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and electronic lab notebooks (ELN).</li>
<li>Implementation of AI and advanced software to speed up method development, data interpretation, and chromatography optimisation.</li>
<li>Development, management, and delivery of the Team&#39;s annual programme according to resources and priorities.</li>
</ul>
<p>The ideal candidate will have at least ten years&#39; professional experience in an analytical science environment, a PhD in Chemistry (or MSc/BSc with 15+ years of experience), and a strong grasp of underlying fundamentals of analytical chemistry.</p>
<p>They will also have a record of strong scientific and team leadership, effective communication skills, and a proven track record of decision-making and appropriate risk-taking.</p>
<p>The role requires strong networking and influencing skills, and the ability to manage delivery of multiple projects across multiple interfaces.</p>
<p>Travel is expected to be up to 10%.</p>

<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>
