<p>Key Responsibilities:</p>
<ul>
<li>Work on our developer portal to enhance partner engagement and streamline the integration process</li>
<li>Develop infrastructure to simplify the exposure of APIs and SDKs for external developers</li>
<li>Build and maintain sample applications, SDKs, and technical frameworks that enable partners to implement sophisticated solutions</li>
<li>Provide technical leadership during partner onboarding, guiding their engineering teams through complex integration scenarios</li>
<li>Create proof-of-concept applications and reference architectures that demonstrate advanced Lattice capabilities and integration patterns</li>
<li>Collaborate with engineering teams to influence the platform roadmap based on real-world implementation challenges</li>
<li>Conduct technical reviews of partner architectures and provide recommendations for optimization and scalability</li>
<li>Troubleshoot complex integration issues and provide hands-on technical support for mission-critical deployments</li>
<li>Evangelize best practices for building resilient, secure, and performant applications on the Lattice platform</li>
</ul>
<p>Requirements:</p>
<ul>
<li>5+ years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer with customer-facing responsibilities</li>
<li>Strong programming experience in multiple languages (Python, Java, Go, C++, or similar) with demonstrated ability to build production-grade applications</li>
<li>Deep expertise in distributed systems architecture, including microservices, event-driven architectures, and API gateway patterns</li>
<li>Experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and DevOps practices</li>
<li>Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)</li>
<li>Proven track record of designing and implementing complex system integrations in enterprise environments</li>
<li>Experience with API technologies including REST, gRPC, GraphQL, and real-time communication protocols (WebSockets, message queues)</li>
<li>Strong understanding of security patterns, authentication/authorization frameworks, and data protection in distributed systems</li>
<li>Excellent technical communication skills with the ability to present complex architectural concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders</li>
<li>Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities</li>
</ul>
<p>Preferred Qualifications:</p>
<ul>
<li>Experience architecting solutions for defence, aerospace, or other mission-critical industries</li>
<li>Background in edge computing, IoT architectures, or real-time data processing systems</li>
<li>Knowledge of air-gapped environments, offline-first architectures, and high-availability system design</li>
<li>Open source contributions to architectural frameworks or developer tools</li>
<li>Experience mentoring engineering teams and leading technical design reviews</li>
<li>Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field</li>

      <Description><![CDATA[<p>As a Senior Staff Systems Engineer on Shield AI&#39;s next gen UAS program, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and integrating cutting-edge autonomous aircraft systems for national defense.</p>
<p>This position requires a deep understanding of aerospace systems engineering, autonomy, and complex system integration. You will work cross-functionally with teams in hardware, software, autonomy, flight operations, and manufacturing to develop a scalable, mission-ready platform capable of operating in contested environments.</p>
<p>Key responsibilities include:</p>
<ul>
<li><p>Performing system architecture &amp; design: Developing and refining the system architecture for the next gen UAS, ensuring seamless integration of avionics, autonomy, propulsion, sensor payloads, and mission systems.</p>
</li>
<li><p>Defining and documenting system-level behavior, including modes, states, transitions, and fault responses.</p>
</li>
<li><p>Supporting safety analyses (FHA, FMEA, FTA) by defining behavior under fault conditions.</p>
