As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and directing game systems for Rocket League. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including artists, programmers, designers, producers, and product managers, to create engaging features and content that delight our community of players.  ### Responsibilities  <em> Design, develop, implement, and improve systems in accordance with Rocket League&#39;s design principles </em> Create game systems that support match feedback, player analysis, and automatic matchmaking (matchmaking) <em> Write clear and concise design documentation and lead design initiatives for Rocket League </em> Collaborate with design, development, production, and product management teams at Epic to guide the tactical implementation of Rocket League initiatives <em> Work with the production team to establish clear schedules for tasks, priorities, and statuses related to design </em> Ensure alignment between multiple stakeholders and oversee the implementation of features, systems, and designs you are responsible for <em> Monitor community feedback, identify player needs, evaluate what is feasible, and develop a plan of action to address them  ### Requirements  </em> Passion for Rocket League and esports games <em> Familiarity and interest in Fortnite&#39;s features and mechanics </em> Advanced experience (7+ years) in game design, with a focus on system design for competitive multiplayer games and/or live-service games <em> Advanced experience (5+ years) in technical design, focused on implementing systems for published competitive multiplayer games </em> Excellent written communication skills and demonstrated experience in effectively conveying design ideas through documentation <em> Strong oral communication skills and experience in collaborative multidisciplinary work </em> Passion for personal development and mentoring colleagues <em> Experience with Unreal Editor and Blueprints </em> Professional experience with a high-level programming language (e.g., C++, C#, Swift, JavaScript, Python, etc.) &quot;&quot;</p>
