At Bayer, we're seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as the Director of Facility Operations. This pivotal role is essential in ensuring the seamless functioning of our state-of-the-art facilities, where groundbreaking research takes place.
\nAs the Director, you will be responsible for leading the planning, engineering, and maintenance of our facilities while managing day-to-day operations and overseeing critical projects that support our mission. With a focus on delivering exceptional service and maintaining a safe and compliant work environment, you will collaborate with diverse teams to enhance laboratory operations and drive continuous improvement.
\nThe primary responsibilities of this role include directing the planning, engineering, maintenance, daily operations, and budgeting of the facilities and property administration programs and processes; leading and managing day-to-day operations, budget, resource, prioritization, and facilities projects; maintaining buildings and infrastructure in an operational state; overseeing the ongoing delivery of core services including janitorial, shipping and receiving, mailroom, and facilities helpdesk; and overseeing all aspects of the capital projects department from initial scope cost estimating, design, construction, and delivery of office and Research and Development (R&D) space.
\nTo be successful in this role, you will need to have a proven track record of management and leadership effectiveness, proficiency in local, state, and federal guidelines for safety, shipping, waste disposal, and pH systems, previous experience managing vendors, budgets, and overseeing laboratories and equipment, and ability to communicate and work effectively across all departments.
\nWe offer a competitive salary between $140,720.00 and $211,080.00, additional compensation may include a bonus or commission, and a range of benefits including health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc.

Full English Fluency SAP Experience Environment (Desirable) Finance / Accounting Experience, Reconciliations (Desirable)
