The ideal candidate has both business and legal training, as well as customer-facing experience with the civil space community, including NASA and the Department of Defense. You will work closely with Astranis senior management, program management, engineering, operations, and legal team.

Role:

• Support Astranis's compliance activities, including collaboration with Astranis internal teams and external consultants, and ownership of relevant document production and execution
• Manage USG contract administration, including closely coordinating with Astranis Legal to ensure company compliance with relevant FAR clauses, representations and certificates, and proposal submittal requirements
• Support Astranis's monitoring of and engagement with administrative proceedings across a range of USG and other national government agencies
• Execute policy and regulatory strategies in support of Astranis business priorities

Requirements:

• B.S./B.A., J.D. is a plus but not required
• Working knowledge of civil space organizations and programs
• Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation and USG contract structures
• Working knowledge of government regulatory structures for commercial space industry
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• US Citizen or Green Card Holder

Bonus:

• Knowledge of EAR/ITAR
