<p><strong>Your tasks:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Maintain and repair machines and plants made of mechanical and electronic parts, disassemble and reassemble them</li>
<li>Put mechatronic systems into operation and operate them, install and test controls</li>
<li>Produce semi-finished products and components, measure and test electrical quantities</li>
<li>Carry out repair, maintenance, and overhaul measures on machines and plants in the production and manufacturing area (e.g. CNC milling machines, CNC turning machines, autoclaves, conventional machining machines)</li>
<li>Carry out repair, maintenance, and overhaul measures on test stands in the wind tunnel and chassis test bench area (e.g. suspension test stands)</li>
<li>Coordinate and control external service providers</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Your qualifications:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Completed technical education as an electronics technician, mechatronics technician, electrical engineer, master or comparable qualification</li>
<li>Good team and communication skills with enthusiasm for automation technology and good understanding of technical processes</li>
<li>Experience in fault finding and rectification, experience in the field of measurement, control and regulation technology (e.g. SBC or Siemens) or fundamental knowledge of CNC controls (e.g. Siemens, Heidenhain, Celos)</li>
<li>Safe reading of technical drawings and circuit diagrams, and understanding of safety technology</li>
<li>Solution-oriented, flexible, open-minded, and willing to take responsibility</li>
<li>Independent, reliable, structured, and goal-oriented working style, and well-developed service and responsibility awareness</li>
<li>Very good German language skills</li>
<li>Good English language skills</li>

      <Title>Engineering Specialist, Controls</Title>
      <Description><![CDATA[<p>In this position, you will lead problem-solving to assist plants and implementation teams in resolving tooling, equipment, and conveyor performance issues and downtime.</p>
<p>As an Engineering Specialist, Controls, you will develop and implement improvements to control systems and equipment using Factory Information Systems (FIS) data. You will also lead problem-solving in resolving equipment performance issues, lead trouble-shooting, and coordinate resources to find root cause and fixes.</p>
<p>Additional responsibilities include assisting in the training of manufacturing personnel and plant electricians, assisting in the integration of controls into IT systems, and troubleshooting machinery, robot, automation, and controls issues and downtime.</p>
<p>You will use FIS plant monitoring software to review cycle times of equipment, review and coordinate project installations, and experience interacting with senior management, process engineering, safety, IT, and plant production teams.</p>
<p>To succeed in this role, you will need to be self-starting, self-directed, with extremely good influential, organizational, and interpersonal skills. You will also require a strong manufacturing background with heavy emphasis on production-related controls experience.</p>
<p>This position is a salary grade 6 and ranges from $72,480-121,440. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Candidates for positions with Ford Motor Company must be legally authorized to work in the United States.</p>
