Requirements:

• 5+ years of IT management or team leadership experience, with demonstrated success building and scaling high-performing teams.
• Hands-on experience with user and computer management tools, ideally including directory services (Google Workspace, O365), identity/access management (Okta), and ticketing systems (Jira Service Management or similar).
• Proven background in helpdesk, IT support, or user services, with deep understanding of the IT service delivery lifecycle.
• Strong team leadership and people management skills: ability to mentor, develop, and hold direct reports accountable while fostering psychological safety and growth.
• Experience with IT automation, integration platforms, or workflow optimization (e.g., Workato, Zapier, API integrations, or scripting).

As a GCP Cloud Architect, you will provide day-to-day responsibility with hands-on design and development wherever applicable for key cloud-native infrastructure, computing, database, network, storage, and interoperability initiatives. Responsibilities:

• Work with Technology and Software Platform teams to provide solutions for cloud infrastructure across the Ford Enterprise, including hosting, computing, databases, and networks.

• Experience with Data center environments with a mix of Linux and Windows and system administration, troubleshooting, proficiency with CLI (Bash, PowerShell), virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), and monitoring tools.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in IT or Technology-related disciplines with progressively increasing responsibility.
• 5+ Experience working with cloud native Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and hybrid cloud environments such as researching the best use of cloud products and the ecosystem, designing, developing, implementing, and managing Google Cloud Platform infrastructure.
• 3+ hands-on experience in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or similar languages.
• 3+ years’ experience with application development using technologies such as Java, Springboot, Python, etc.
• 2+ years’ experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or Deployment Manager.

Salary:

This position is a salary grade 7 - 8 ranges from $97,140-190,500.
