YubHub-native raw fields carry `x-` prefix.","jobs":[{"@context":"https://schema.org","@type":"JobPosting","identifier":{"@type":"PropertyValue","name":"YubHub","value":"job_dafcc67c-e10"},"title":"Senior Accountant","description":"<p>Ready to be pushed beyond what you think you’re capable of?</p>\n<p>At Coinbase, our mission is to increase economic freedom in the world.</p>\n<p>We&#39;re seeking a Senior Accountant to join our UK Finance team.</p>\n<p>As a Senior Accountant, you&#39;ll own daily finance operations and have input and review to sharpen forecasts, model scenarios, and turn raw data into crisp, board-ready insights.</p>\n<p>You&#39;ll play a pivotal role in scaling Coinbase’s presence in the UK and wider EMEA region through new licence applications, new product launches, and governance.</p>\n<p>This is a high-impact position designed for a versatile finance professional who can navigate the complexities of a regulated fintech environment while driving long-term efficiency through automation.</p>\n<p>Responsibilities:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures over platform accounting activities</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaborate with cross-functional partners to operationalize new areas of the business to facilitate streamlined accounting transactions as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Analyze data against business drivers to identify trends / issues</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide support for internal and external audits related to specific areas of responsibility</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain up-to-date process documentation and procedures as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Contribute to automation and efficiency initiatives to streamline reconciliations</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist on preparation and/or review of month-end and quarter-end close, own UK IFRS books of accounts and reconciliations, maintain major accounting policies, and adjust financial statements as required.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee the monthly US GAAP to local IFRS accounting adjustments.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Supporting regulatory reporting requirements.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Monitor and oversee outsourced finance services, ensuring performance meets agreed SLAs/KPIs.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Supporting the Global finance function as part of the month end close cycle.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Support ad hoc financial information requests from the UK Head of Finance and other stakeholders as required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Requirements:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>5+ years working in public accounting or in the fintech/financial services industries preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience working in a regulated environment.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>BA/BS in Accounting or related field, or ACCA/ACA preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Basic knowledge/understanding of payment systems and cash reconciliation processes at a large financial institution.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Basic knowledge of blockchain technology and the crypto economy.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Possess excellent analytical skills business partnering, problem solving, and prioritization skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Able to work well in a dynamic environment and be able to recommend and implement process improvements.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong work ethic and team player.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>AI Requirements:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Demonstrates the ability to responsibly use generative AI tools and copilots (e.g., LibreChat, Gemini, Glean) in daily workflows, continuously learn as tools evolve, and apply human-in-the-loop practices to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in efficiency, cost, and quality.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Nice to haves:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience working in Netsuite, FloQast, and G-Suite.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Basic knowledge of SQL and experience working with Snowflake, Looker, or similar analytics tools.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Basic knowledge of Client Asset Safeguarding.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Pay Transparency Notice: The target annual base salary for this position can range as detailed below.
