The position will also be tasked with utilizing forklifts and supporting the loading and unloading of trucks.</p>\n<p>Responsibilities:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Operate with a safety-first mindset</li>\n<li>Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs)</li>\n<li>Ensure the proper movements of trailers to the desired facility</li>\n<li>Perform all pre and post trip inspections while properly communicating any issues or concerns</li>\n<li>Maintain 5S standards (continuous cleaning of area while plant is operating)</li>\n<li>Operate powered industrial trucks</li>\n<li>Maintain cross training on multiple pieces of equipment</li>\n<li>Remaining up to date with safety, LMS, and ISO trainings</li>\n<li>Periodic handling of freight or out of spec product</li>\n<li>Employees will be trained and must utilize machine safety standards that will include control of hazardous energy, LOTO, and fortress keys</li>\n<li>Employees will be required to be engaged in additional safety programs which include but are not limited to PPE, ergonomics, PIT, and safety/environmental programs.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>What You Bring to the Role:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>High school diploma/GED required</li>\n<li>Class A CDL required</li>\n<li>Basic computer skills</li>\n<li>Positive attitude</li>\n<li>Previous experience in team environments</li>\n<li>Strong verbal and written communication skills</li>\n<li>Familiarity with SAP</li>\n<li>Previous experience with scanners and WMS</li>\n<li>Safe driving history</li>\n<li>Working Conditions / Physical Requirements: Ability to frequently lift up to 50llbs, walk up and down stairs, stand and squat multiple times throughout shift.
