Job Description

We are looking for a Product Developer for Lubricants to join our team in Mannheim, Germany. As a Product Developer, you will be responsible for the development and optimization of lubricant formulations, as well as the analysis and evaluation of additives in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Optimize existing formulations for lubricants and pastes
• Analyze and evaluate additives under consideration of regulatory requirements
• Plan, conduct, and document laboratory tests on lubricants
• Support international product transfers
• Take over own projects after training - including timely and resource-efficient implementation
• Present the results of the work in the context of these projects
• Clarify technical questions and solve arising challenges in product support
• Ensure high quality standards and continuous development in your area of responsibility
• Provide technical support for product management, application technology, sales, purchasing, production, and quality assurance
• Collaborate with international project teams to successfully implement common tasks

Requirements

• Completed education as a chemical technician or a bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or a comparable field
• Strong interest in the development and production of lubricants and continuous product optimization; initial professional experience is an advantage
• Very good German and English language skills in writing and speaking
• High team and communication skills, particularly in collaboration with departments such as product management, application technology, sales, purchasing, production, and quality assurance
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
• Flexibility and ability to act in a dynamic working environment
• Safe handling of MS Office
