As a Supply Chain Resilience Lead, you will lead high-priority, high-visibility strategic initiatives designed to protect Ford&#39;s production from global supply chain vulnerabilities. You will be responsible for identifying risks related to geopolitical exposure, supplier concentration, and financial distress, and then developing and executing comprehensive mitigation plans.</p>
<p>This role acts as a critical bridge between Purchasing, Engineering, Finance, and Manufacturing to ensure the long-term stability of Ford&#39;s most profitable vehicle programs.</p>
<p>The successful candidate will have 5+ years of experience in supply chain, sourcing, procurement, or operations within automotive or complex manufacturing. They will also have 5+ years of experience identifying supply chain risks and executing mitigation strategies, as well as strong program management skills, including leading cross-functional initiatives, governance forums, and KPI/scorecard tracking.</p>
<p>You will develop and present data-driven resilience strategies to executive leadership, lead identification and mitigation of global supply chain risks, drive value stream mapping to improve sub-tier visibility and uncover systemic risks, and manage resilience governance, including cross-functional forums, KPI scorecards, and prioritization of critical supply risks.</p>
<p>You will also evaluate financial trade-offs of mitigation strategies, including CapEx, tooling, and cost-of-inaction analyses, partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Finance, and Supplier Technical teams to execute de-risking plans and ensure quality/validation compliance, and lead supplier engagement on capacity, safety stock (&#39;banking&#39;), and transition strategies.</p>
<p>The salary for this position is a salary grade 8, ranging from $99,100 to $166,200.</p>

      <Description><![CDATA[<p>We&#39;re looking for a commercially minded procurement professional to play a key role in our Procurement &amp; Supply Chain transformation journey. As Category Manager - CAPEX, you will take ownership of procurement activity across major capital projects, from early design and specification through to contract award, delivery and completion.</p>
<p>Key responsibilities include:</p>
<p>Leading procurement for large CAPEX projects from concept and design through to delivery and handover
Partnering with project managers, engineers and operational teams to shape sourcing strategies and manage risk, cost and timelines
Developing and executing CAPEX category strategies to drive value, resilience and supplier performance
Managing complex tender processes and contract negotiations with construction and engineering suppliers

<p>What do I need to be successful?</p>
<p>Significant experience in strategic procurement, with a strong focus on CAPEX and construction-related categories
Proven background working on medium to large, complex capital projects alongside project managers and technical teams
Strong commercial and contractual knowledge, with experience running multi-stakeholder tenders and knowledge of NEC and ICE contract forms
Excellent influencing and communication skills, with a collaborative, partnership-led approach
A proactive, improvement-driven mindset with the confidence to challenge constructively and drive better outcomes
Ability to navigate a diverse business, create strategic overview and an approach that focuses on priorities, value add and outcomes, which will support Biffa’s objectives</p>
