As the world's leading cruise line, Princess Cruises is seeking a Master Photographer to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the PhotoStudio program, reporting to the on-board Photo Manager. This is a premium, by-appointment, photography program that elevates the guest experience with a combination of a high-end studio plus walk-around photo sessions on-board iconic Princess Cruises luxury vessels.
\nThe Master Photographer will perform portrait photography in the Photo Studio, and on location during “Walkaround” sessions, focusing on providing a unique and memorable experience, interacting with every guest, observing and identifying their preferences and adjusting service, accordingly, anticipating passengers’ needs, and engaging in conversation while always showing genuine interest.
\nKey responsibilities include conducting viewing/sales sessions with all clients and selling photo images and packages following pricing guidelines provided by the department to achieve budgeted sales targets each voyage by using effective sales techniques. The Master Photographer will also work with the Photo team to drive bookings and manage the scheduling of sessions throughout the voyage with the goal of increasing sales.
\nThe ideal candidate will have a minimum of two to three years of experience in studio photography, preferably as a cruise ship photographer. A Bachelor’s degree in photography or equivalent is preferred. The successful candidate will also have solid interpersonal skills to make subjects feel relaxed and interact with people of all ages and walks of life, including young children.
\nFluent English language skills, both verbal and written, are required. Outstanding social skills and the ability to deliver outstanding service to our guests with a friendly and professional demeanor are essential. The desire to excel in all aspects of job duties and responsibilities is also required.
