      <Description><![CDATA[<p>We are seeking a Staff Battery Pack Engineer to join our Electric Vehicles, Digital and Design (EVDD) team. In this position, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing lithium-ion battery systems for our electric vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in battery technology, including the design, manufacturing, and testing of lithium-ion batteries for electric vehicles.</p>
<p>Responsibilities:</p>
<ul>
<li>Develop and design lithium-ion battery systems utilizing 3DX</li>
<li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure battery systems meet performance, safety, and cost requirements, as well as integration with the overall vehicle platform</li>
<li>Create test plans and conduct testing and analysis of battery systems to identify and resolve any issues</li>
<li>Work with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure high-quality battery components</li>
<li>Create boundary diagrams and device transmittals</li>
<li>Coordinate CAE simulations for both mechanical and thermal systems</li>
<li>Maintain documentation and records related to battery system designs and testing results</li>
<li>Stay up-to-date with the latest battery technology and industry trends to ensure our electric vehicles remain competitive</li>
</ul>
<p>Qualifications:</p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor&#39;s or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience</li>
<li>Experience developing products for mass production with injection molding, stamping, forging, and casting</li>
<li>Define the requirements and specifications for battery development</li>
<li>Drive battery and system design, safety, and regulatory requirements</li>
<li>Plan, coordinate and execute battery validation tests, covering various aspects such as system, safety, thermal, data, barrier, vehicle, dyno/bench, life, charging and cell performance</li>
<li>Participate in DFMEA and PFMEA activities</li>
<li>Manage external vendors and partners for testing and manufacturing</li>
<li>Main integrator of cell and electronics within the battery pack</li>
<li>Familiar with adhesives and thermal interface materials</li>
<li>Experience specifying fuses, contactors, relays, busbars and high voltage and low voltage connectors</li>
</ul>

      <Title>Closures Systems Engineer</Title>
      <Description><![CDATA[<p>We are seeking a Closures Systems Engineer to join our Electric Vehicles, Digital and Design (EVDD) team. As a Closures Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and validation of vehicle closure systems, such as side doors, hood, fender, liftgate, tailgate, etc. This role focuses on the critical intersection of sheet metal structures and mechanical hardware.</p>
<p>You will ensure that closure systems are engineered for structural integrity and manufacturing feasibility while seamlessly integrating hardware such as latches, hinges, and seals. You will support the product from early concept through prototype testing and final production launch, meet all functional, safety, and aesthetic requirements.</p>
<p>Responsibilities:</p>
<ul>
<li>Lead sub-system mechanical development and integration of closure systems, including sheet metal, door latches, hinges, hood/tailgate hardware, struts, and exterior handles.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Design and develop closure inner and outer panels, reinforcements, and architectural interfaces using CAD (3DX/CATIA).</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Package and integrate moving mechanical components including hinges, latches, checks, and seals, ensuring proper kinematics and clearance.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Define and execute Design Verification Plans (DVP&amp;R). Coordinate physical testing for durability, strength, and environmental performance, and correlate results with CAE simulations.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Work closely with Studio Design to ensure &quot;Class A&quot; surface feasibility while maintaining engineering requirements for structural stiffness and water sealing.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure sheet metal designs are optimized for stamping, hemming, and assembly (welding/bonding).</li>
</ul>

<li>Manage supplier technical delivery to ensure hardware components meet Ford&#39;s functional, weight, and cost targets.</li>
