      <Description><![CDATA[<p>We are seeking an experienced Site Facilities Manager to lead operations at our new Austin, Texas facility. This is a critical hands-on leadership role responsible for bringing online and managing a 48,000 square foot indoor facility that is situated on an 11.2 acre industrial site.</p>
<p>As our first facilities leader in Austin, you will be instrumental in establishing operational excellence at this strategic location. You will oversee the transition of an existing structure into a fully operational Exowatt facility, manage daily maintenance operations, and build strong relationships with external vendors and service providers.</p>
<p>This position reports to the Head of People &amp; Talent and will collaborate closely with teams across engineering, manufacturing, product, and corporate functions.</p>
<p>Responsibilities:</p>
<ul>
<li>Lead the buildout and commissioning of the Austin facility, transforming an existing structure into a fully operational facility and site</li>
<li>Develop and implement facility management systems, procedures, and documentation for the 48,000 sq ft facility and site</li>
<li>Manage the 11.2-acre property including grounds maintenance, parking areas, and exterior infrastructure</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations including building codes, fire safety, OSHA, and environmental requirements</li>
<li>Directly manage and supervise all safety practices</li>
</ul>
<p>Daily Maintenance &amp; Operations:</p>
<ul>
<li>Execute and oversee preventive maintenance programs for all building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and security</li>
<li>Perform hands-on maintenance tasks and repairs across mechanical, electrical, and facility systems</li>
<li>Maintain safety, and operational efficiency of all facility and site areas</li>
<li>Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently; maintain equipment logs and safety documentation</li>
<li>Respond to facility emergencies as needed</li>
</ul>
<p>Administration:</p>
<ul>
<li>Partner with Austin based Chief of Staff to provide regular updates to leadership on facility status, projects, and operational metrics</li>
<li>Maintain comprehensive documentation including maintenance records, vendor contracts, and compliance certifications</li>
<li>Coordinate with Miami headquarters on facility standards, best practices, and cross-site initiatives</li>
</ul>
<p>Required Qualifications:</p>
<ul>
<li>5+ years of experience in facility management, industrial operations, or a related field</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience managing large facilities (40,000+ sq ft) including warehouse or industrial spaces</li>
<li>Proven track record of vendor management, contract negotiation, and budget oversight</li>
<li>Strong hands-on maintenance skills across electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems</li>
<li>Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)</li>
<li>Knowledge of OSHA regulations, building codes, and safety protocols</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills with ability to interface with leadership, employees, and external partners</li>
<li>Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in industrial/warehouse environments</li>
<li>Fluent in Google Workspace</li>
<li>Must be based in the Austin, TX area</li>
<li>Must have reliable transportation</li>
</ul>
<p>Preferred Qualifications:</p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor&#39;s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field</li>
<li>Experience bringing new facilities online or leading significant facility buildouts</li>
<li>Background in renewable energy, manufacturing, or technology sectors</li>
<li>CFM (Certified Facility Manager) or FMP (Facility Management Professional) certification</li>
<li>Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent)</li>
<li>Experience with facility management software (CMMS) and building automation systems</li>
<li>Bilingual capabilities (English/Spanish)</li>
