As a Strategic Events Manager, you will act as a key producer and strategist, connecting identity security vision with mainstage execution through partnership with product marketing, executive comms, creative, and executive leadership.</p>
<p>Your responsibilities will include:</p>

<li>Strategic Messaging Alignment: Partner with PMM and Comms to translate core messaging into a cohesive keynote experience that aligns with brand values and Okta’s vision.</li>
<li>Production Leadership: Leverage keynote best practices and innovative storytelling to bring messaging to life. Develop the end to end Keynote that ensures a consistent and intentional experience across all Okta events. Work with the team design team to manage all content - slides, films, and motion.</li>
<li>Workstream Management: Provide end-to-end oversight of keynote production workstreams, including complex timelines, staging concepts, run of show, technical deliverables, and continuity between live show, broadcast and post event.</li>
<li>Executive Management &amp; Alignment: Serve as a primary production lead to ensure executives are properly prepared to deliver a consistent and impactful message on stage.</li>
<li>Format Innovation: Stay at the forefront of keynote trends, establishing best practices for live storytelling, design, speakers that challenge the status quo.</li>
</ul>
<p>Program Management &amp; Execution:</p>
<ul>
<li>Cross-Functional Facilitation: Program manager to the content planning and strategy discussions across various teams (creative, film, talent, and messaging), ensuring all assets meet our security and brand guidelines. Ability to stretch beyond the Keynote workstream to manage aspects for our internal and external programs, and executive experiences as needed.</li>
<li>Operational Rigor: Establish processes that provide a high level of organization in a fast-paced environment.</li>
<li>Mission Integration: Educated on Okta’s core messaging to ensure all assigned workstreams reflect it consistently and reinforce our role as the leaders in securing agentic AI.</li>
</ul>
<p>Performance Tracking &amp; Budget Stewardship:</p>
<ul>
<li>ROI &amp; Impact Measurement: Collaborate with data teams to analyze the measurable impact of keynote experiences and leverage those insights to optimize future programs and maximize ROI.</li>
<li>Budget Accountability: Manage large-scale production budgets and external agency partners to ensure flawless execution and strategic resource allocation.</li>
</ul>
<p>To be successful in this role, you will need:</p>
<ul>
<li>7+ years in event management or live production, with a focus on mainstage or keynote experiences in the technology sector.</li>
<li>Based in Seattle or Chicago metro areas with the ability to work in a hybrid office environment.</li>
<li>Ability to travel to 4-6 events a year.</li>

      <Description><![CDATA[<p>We&#39;re hiring a Marketing Director to lead subscription marketing for a portfolio of major UK brands, including The Week, The Week Junior, MoneyWeek, and The Week Junior Science &amp; Nature.</p>
<p>You will set the marketing direction for each title, own the commercial plan for subscription growth in the UK, and lead a direct team of seven across acquisition, planning and campaign delivery. The role spans full-funnel marketing, combining integrated acquisition and brand campaigns with disciplined forecasting, budget stewardship and performance oversight.</p>
<p>You&#39;ll work in close partnership with the brand leadership teams and central marketing and growth specialists will support you, to deliver outcomes while protecting what makes each title distinctive.</p>
<p><strong>What you&#39;ll be doing</strong></p>
<p>Reporting to the Group VP of Marketing, you&#39;ll be responsible for owning the UK marketing strategy for a portfolio of subscription brands. This involves translating brand positioning into clear go-to-market plans, as well as leading integrated acquisition across paid and owned channels. Your goal will be to balance performance outcomes with brand-building, driving sustainable growth.</p>
<p>You will also plan and deliver campaigns by channel planning, briefing and creative development in a partnership with the Brand Director. You&#39;ll launch execution, optimisation and post-campaign learning and own your forecasting and commercial planning for the portfolio.</p>
<p><strong>Experience that will put you ahead of the curve</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Experience leading marketing for subscription businesses, with clear evidence of driving acquisition and revenue outcomes</li>
<li>Commercial awareness: managing budgets, forecasts, and channel investment decisions</li>
<li>Experience running brand and performance channels together, with an understanding of how to build demand and convert it</li>
<li>Experience delivering high-quality campaigns, including media planning and excellent cross-functional execution</li>
<li>Credible senior stakeholder management, comfortable operating in a matrixed organisation.</li>
<li>Leadership capability: you develop talent, set clear standards, and create clarity.</li>
<li>Experience in publishing and membership or content subscription businesses, and familiarity with paywalls.</li>
