This role ensures that waste is handled safely, efficiently, and in full alignment with the estate&#39;s environmental and recycling strategy.</p>\n<p>A critical part of this role is driving tenant and occupier compliance with waste procedures, offering training and guidance as needed, and ensuring estate-wide adherence to recycling best practices. The manager also supports event operations by coordinating waste services during peak activities, maintaining clear and safe BOH routes, and responding promptly to operational issues.</p>\n<p>During the estate&#39;s operational mobilisation, the Back of House &amp; Waste Manager will also be responsible for supporting overarching, sitewide cleaning services and operational cleaning requirements.</p>\n<p>Main Duties &amp; Responsibilities:</p>\n<p>Waste Management &amp; Compliance</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee daily waste handling, segregation, storage, and all waste collections.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure all processes comply with environmental legislation, health &amp; safety standards, and the estate&#39;s recycling policies.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Drive tenant and occupier compliance with waste procedures, offering coaching and best-practice guidance.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain accurate data on waste volumes, recycling rates, and contractor performance.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Back of House Operations</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain BOH routes, service corridors, loading bays, and waste areas to a high operational and cleanliness standard.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Supervise BOH cleaning teams and subcontractors.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct routine inspections and address issues promptly.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee the safe use, maintenance, and availability of wastehandling equipment (compactors, balers, containers, etc).</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Contractor &amp; Team Management</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Coordinate BOH staff and wastemanagement suppliers in accordance with SLAs and KPIs.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Support staff onboarding, training, and ongoing performance development.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage resource planning to ensure appropriate staffing levels.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage and order stock</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Schedule periodic and reactive works within the team.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Health, Safety &amp; Compliance</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure all BOH areas follow health, safety, fire, and hygiene standards.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct risk assessments and implement controls.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Report hazards, incidents, and non-compliance, taking corrective actions as needed.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensuring that all equipment is kept clean, well maintained and in a safe working order and compliant.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Communicate effectively within the team - we all work together.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensuring that you &amp; the team protective clothing (PPE) and comply with Health &amp; Safety legislation and policies.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Take responsibility for training of staff and recording of that training</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Skills &amp;
