YubHub-native raw fields carry `x-` prefix.","jobs":[{"@context":"https://schema.org","@type":"JobPosting","identifier":{"@type":"PropertyValue","name":"YubHub","value":"job_f272cfa1-e0a"},"title":"Guidance, Navigation & Control (GNC) Simulation Software Engineer","description":"<p>As a Simulation Software Engineer on the GNC team, you will design, develop, and test our high-fidelity spacecraft simulation that is used to validate the software that controls our satellites while in orbit.</p>\n<p>Your responsibilities will include:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Design, develop, and maintain software for our high-fidelity software simulation platform</li>\n<li>Implement and improve software- and hardware-in-the-loop simulations to validate satellite software and flight algorithms</li>\n<li>Accelerate the software development process through infrastructure improvements</li>\n<li>Develop and enhance Monte Carlo simulation tooling for assessing system performance under various conditions</li>\n<li>Incorporate physics-based models into simulation</li>\n<li>Develop analysis and visualization tooling to provide insight into our system</li>\n<li>Support GNC operations for our fleet of satellites, including on-console and on-call rotations</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Requirements include:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>BS or MS in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent background experience</li>\n<li>2-5+ years in software or building simulations of complex physical systems</li>\n<li>2-5+ years experience with Python or other high-level object-oriented programming language(s)</li>\n<li>Ability to effectively collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on large software projects</li>\n<li>Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail</li>\n<li>Highly motivated, self-starting, and able to perform duties autonomously without much supervision</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Bonus requirements include:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Understanding of classical or modern control theory, and basic orbital mechanics</li>\n<li>Knowledge of memory management, threading, and interprocess communication techniques</li>\n<li>Experience building and maintaining software infrastructure used across teams</li>\n<li>Experience in statistical analysis techniques and Monte Carlo simulation</li>\n<li>Experience with C/C++</li>\n<li>Experience with AI tooling and agentic workflows</li>\n<li>Experience with databases</li>\n<li>Experience with spacecraft design</li>\n</ul>\n<p>What we offer:</p>\n<p>All our positions offer a compensation package that includes equity and robust benefits.
