<p>As an Integration and Test Engineer (Mechanical), you will work within a dynamic team of multidisciplinary engineers and specialists throughout the life of AUV design, integration, and test efforts. Your responsibilities will include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Supporting design and integration of AUV mechanical subsystems and components, ensuring proper interfaces with electronic and software systems</li>
<li>Developing, building and operating physical integration environments and test fixtures to support system maturity efforts</li>
<li>Conducting root cause analysis for mechanical failures and implementing corrective actions</li>
<li>Providing mechanical subject matter expertise to test operations for AUV platforms, including conducting pre-mission testing, vehicle tasking, and data analysis</li>
<li>Writing, reviewing, and executing detailed test procedures to document the step-by-step execution of internal and customer-facing efforts to test and evaluate AUV subsystems, platforms, and new capabilities</li>
<li>Supporting infield debug, repair, operation, and maintenance of AUVs</li>
<li>May be in the field up to 20% of the time, supporting nearshore and offshore testing</li>

<p><strong>Job Overview and Purpose</strong></p>
<p>We are seeking a skilled and experienced Multi Skilled Engineer (Mechanical Bias) to join our team at the London Designer Outlet. As a key member of our Maintenance Team, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks as instructed by the Maintenance Manager.</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance tasks as instructed by the Maintenance Manager.</li>
<li>Maintenance, fault finding, testing, and minor installation works on mechanical plant and systems including HVAC systems, AHUs and FCUs, pumps, valves, motors, and fans.</li>
<li>Hot and cold water systems, basic plumbing and pipework.</li>
<li>Undertake nonspecialist building fabric maintenance tasks as required in support of the wider maintenance team.</li>
<li>Complete and close PPM and reactive tasks accurately on the site computerised maintenance management system (CMMS).</li>
<li>Ensure engineering standards are maintained to maximise operational effectiveness, plant reliability, and system performance.</li>
<li>Ensure all company, site, quality assurance, and Health &amp; Safety procedures are adhered to at all times.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate site records and documentation for all works undertaken.</li>
<li>Inspect the condition of mechanical services and proactively respond to defects, breakdowns, and callouts as required.</li>
<li>Attend site emergencies and support out-of-hours callouts when required.</li>
<li>Work safely within plant rooms, confined spaces, and at height using access equipment and ladders (training and PPE provided).</li>
<li>Maintain all company-issued tools, equipment, and PPE in safe and serviceable condition.</li>
<li>Demonstrate a proactive, flexible, and positive approach to supporting the success of the LDO contract.</li>
<li>Carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by management, which may include supporting site security or resilience activities.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Required Skills and Experience</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Recognised mechanical qualification (NVQ Level 2/3, City &amp; Guilds, or equivalent).</li>
<li>Timeserved apprenticeship or equivalent mechanical training.</li>
<li>Demonstrable experience in HVAC and mechanical building services.</li>
<li>Awareness of basic electrical systems and safe isolation procedures.</li>
<li>Sound knowledge of Health &amp; Safety legislation and safe systems of work.</li>
<li>Strong faultfinding and problemsolving skills.</li>
<li>Customer-focused approach within a live retail environment.</li>
<li>Good written and verbal communication skills.</li>
<li>Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.</li>
<li>Able to work unsupervised and manage workload effectively.</li>
