As a Product Development Engineer, you will be responsible for the integration of 10-speed RWD transmission systems into vehicle spaces. <p>Responsibilities:</p>
<ul>
<li>Serve as a PD engineer responsible for 10-speed RWD and their integration into vehicle spaces.</li>
<li>Take ownership of the DV and PV strategies to deliver a best-in-class powertrain system.</li>
<li>Work as a team to improve part quality and increase the customer experience.</li>
<li>Own and deliver transmission system level assessments and evidence for key GPDS milestones.</li>
<li>Lead Key life test and other dyno testing requirements and execution of system signoff requirements</li>
<li>Must be in Livonia Michigan 4 days a week or more depending on specific testing/hardware needs.</li>
<li>Work with Ford Powertrain Manufacturing and Ford Vehicle Assembly Plants on manufacturing related improvement actions.</li>
<li>Short term travel may be required.</li>
</ul>
<p>Qualifications:</p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor&#39;s degree in engineering or similar degree.</li>
<li>1 year of automotive transmission or powertrain experience.</li>
<li>1 year of CAD experience.</li>

<li>Master&#39;s degree in engineering or similar degree.</li>
<li>Vehicle repair or vehicle diagnostics background.</li>
<li>Cal tools experience preferred, ATI, INCA, ETAS, etc.</li>

<p>Salary: This position is a salary grade 5 and ranges from $65,100-$109,300. This position is a salary grade 6 and ranges from $74,300-$124,500. This position is a salary grade 7 and ranges from $86,600-$144,900. This position is a salary grade 8 and ranges from $99,100-$166,200. Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate&#39;s skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.</p>
