We are seeking an experienced BIM Manager to join our engineering team. In this role, you will serve as the primary advocate for Building Information Modeling (BIM) and document control processes on behalf of the owner across multiple capital projects.
\nYour responsibilities will include developing, implementing, and enforcing BIM standards, protocols, and execution plans. You will lead interdisciplinary model coordination reviews to identify and resolve clashes, inconsistencies, and potential issues before they impact construction.
\nAs the owner's point of contact for all BIM-related matters, you will collaborate with design consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to align on BIM goals, data exchange formats, LOD/LOI requirements, and model federation.
\nYou will perform hands-on drafting and modeling in Autodesk Revit, including updating MEP systems such as power distribution, piping, and ductwork. You will maintain and manage central owner-side BIM repositories, ensuring version control, data integrity, and secure access for internal teams and project partners.
\nAdditionally, you will conduct quality assurance checks on models, including geometric accuracy and data richness. You will support project handover by ensuring as-built models are complete, accurate, and suitable for facility management/operations.
\nYou will provide guidance to engineers on BIM tools, workflows, and best practices. You will stay current with evolving BIM technologies, standards, and industry trends, recommending improvements to enhance project outcomes for the owner.
\nImplement and maintain project-specific document control procedures and workflows. Receive, review, register, distribute, and track incoming and outgoing documents, ensuring proper metadata, numbering, revision control, and approval workflows.
