Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting across the month end close process, including journal posting, balance sheet reconciliation and liaising with Operational and Delivery teams.
• Ensuring continuous improvement of finance processes and controls by supporting the wider department drive to automate.
• Spotting trends, recurring issues or control gaps and proposing improvements.

In addition, the role involves:

• Ensuring billing is compliant with internal controls and accounting policies, maintaining high-quality documentation.
• Working closely with Sales, Operations and Delivery teams to enable proactive billing procedures.
• Managing shared finance inboxes, responding promptly and professionally to queries.
• Supporting the enablement of AI and automation across Order to Cash processes.

The ideal candidate will have a background in finance, ideally gained in a similar management accounting, assistant accountant role. Part-qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA) or have equivalent experience. A solid understanding of accounts receivable processes, revenue recognition, and the rhythm of the month-end close is required. Experience with multi-entity accounting and international operations is a plus. Strong Excel skills are a must; familiarity with ERP systems (like NetSuite or Salesforce) and automation tools is highly desirable.
