You&#39;ll improve foundational modeling decisions, reducing rework, and establishing standards that scale.</p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Design and build core analytical data models in BigQuery using dbt</li>\n<li>Refactor and restructure existing models to improve clarity, consistency, and ease of use</li>\n<li>Partner directly with solution teams to translate business needs into well-defined, reusable data models</li>\n<li>Define and enforce modeling standards, conventions, and layer contracts</li>\n<li>Standardize identifiers and business logic early in the transformation layer to reduce downstream complexity</li>\n<li>Centralize shared business rules and definitions to enable consistent, trusted analytics</li>\n<li>Explore and apply AI-assisted approaches, to improve analytics workflows</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong expertise in Python and SQL and analytics data modeling</li>\n<li>5+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or a related role</li>\n<li>Hands-on experience designing analytics layers in BigQuery and dbt</li>\n<li>Proven ability to create analyst-friendly data models with clear structure and predictable behavior</li>\n<li>Experience setting standards and influencing how data is modeled and consumed across teams</li>\n<li>Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills</li>\n<li>Clear written and verbal communication skills</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Bonus Points</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience working in a distributed or remote-first environment</li>\n<li>Familiarity with metric definitions, or semantic layers</li>\n<li>Experience applying AI or automation to analytics or data modeling workflows</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary. This role does not have a variable compensation component.
