<li>Adhere to all health and safety rules in compliance with government, industry, and corporate standards</li>
<li>Maintain Equipment in a safe &amp; efficient manner</li>
<li>Assists other trades/operators as required</li>
<li>Participates in the training of Electrical apprentices as required</li>
<li>Participate in problem-solving meetings to help eliminate all downtime</li>
<li>Coordinate die repair and preventative maintenance scheduling to meet job deadlines</li>
<li>Generate and implement cost savings and process improvement suggestions</li>

<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>
<p><strong>Basic Qualifications:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Must have completed a recognized apprenticeship and hold a Certificate of Qualification (CofQ) 309A / 442A (if a Certificate of Apprenticeship has not been attained, applicants with 8 years of experience in the trade after receiving the CofQ will be considered)</li>
<li>Must be able to work all shifts (days, afternoons, midnights) on a rotating schedule</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Working knowledge with PLC’s (e.g., Allen Bradley, RSLogix 5000, Square D, Control Logix) servo controls and variable frequency drives (e.g., Rockwell Powerflex) is required</li>
<li>Must be proficient in reading electrical blueprints and ladder logic prints, have knowledge of Ethernet, DH+, and RS Links/Logics</li>
<li>Strong computer skills</li>
<li>Experience in:</li>
<li>Industrial controls, conveyance systems, sub-stations, motor control centers, power distribution panels, electrical starters, variable frequency drives (VFDs)</li>
<li>Computerized maintenance management systems</li>
<li>Multi-disciplined fast-paced work environment where Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, People, Maintenance, and Environment (SQDCPME) are the focus of all organizational objectives</li>
<li>Troubleshooting electrical and robotic systems and equipment (e.g., Fanuc, Kawasaki, ABB, Siemens)</li>

<p>This position will be a second shift maintenance mechanic that will work in a lubricants plant. They will work with packaging equipment, pumps, meters, motors, belts, drive, and other equipment used to operate a 24/5 production plant.</p>
<p><strong>How You&#39;ll Make an Impact</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Working as a mechanic on packaging equipment in a manufacturing plant.  Fillers, cappers, labelers, case packers, date coders and palletizers, etc.</li>
<li>Work with automated controls; photo eyes, limit switches, pneumatic solenoids and cylinders, Panel View parameters</li>
<li>Trouble shooting, preventative maintenance and routine adjustments.</li>
<li>Working on rotating equipment; pumps, compressors, motors, drives, conveyors.  Disassembly, replacing worn parts, replacing gaskets and/or packing, alignments</li>
<li>PLC knowledge and familiarity, Allen Bradley and Siemen&#39;s</li>
<li>Facility maintenance - boiler, water system, compressed air, lighting, exhaust fans, make up air units.</li>
<li>Other duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline from time to time in its sole discretion.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>What You&#39;ll Need</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Vocational or Technical school diploma/certificate</li>
<li>5+ years experience in industrial manufacturing. Prefer high speed manufacturing such as consumer products or food and beverage.</li>
<li>Need working knowledge of liquid filling and metering systems, conveyors, 120v and 480v equipment, Maintenance Connect</li>
<li>Job requires walking, climbing, lifting 50 lbs. prolonged standing and use of applicable safety equipment.</li>
