\nWe are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Head of Web Flows. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the engineering practices and deliverables at Digital Platforms level in the location.
\nKey responsibilities include:
\nDeveloping an Engineering and Technology strategy and roadmap for Digital Platforms Sponsoring and driving the continued adoption and maturation of DevOps and agile principles Ensuring the Digital Platforms are well maintained, stable and secure Maintaining and developing best in class service resiliency and management Adopting AI technology solutions and driving the platforms evolution across Digital Platforms
\nImpact on the Business
\nProvide leadership and accountability across a globally dispersed population of Digital engineers embedded in a variety of agile teams Establish and develop strong technical leadership and relationships with architecture and platform functions Ownership and accountability for the design and definition of the Digital Platforms Engineering practice and Strategy Working with Platform Value Stream Leads and iWPB Technology leadership, providing technical leadership in driving transformational change and innovation across the Engineering landscape Represent Digital Platforms across the broader iWPB and Technology community in relation to Engineering development, delivery and standards
\nKnowledge & Experience/Qualifications
\nOutstanding Technology leader who is passionate about driving the business agenda Ability to understand the relationship between application design, data and infrastructure Large scale and complex enterprise planning capabilities Experience of agile at scale methods, using Scaled Agile and DevSecOps tools and processes Demonstrable success in understanding and delivering towards customer needs in large, complex organisations Commercially aware and understands platforms, services and underlying processes to fulfill these needs Ability to lead and influence across a broad range of the Technology organisation Managing operational functions, directing process re-engineering and efficiency exercises Strong ability to balance risks vs. rewards and maximising the cost effectiveness and profitability for the business Respectful of different cultures, working with colleagues from across all 5 regions Experience in and working understanding of hosting platforms for online and mobile applications Experience of managing programmes or projects or a variety of delivery / assurance roles across a number of projects/ programmes Strong track record of leading digital technology engineering teams within a retail / consumer industry, preferably at scale and across global markets Commercially viable and understands digital platforms, services and underlying processes to fulfill Ability to lead and influence global teams Strong understanding of operational effectiveness and strong number drive Leading and directing executive and non-executive work groups and effecting change through people Managing operational functions, directing process re-engineering and efficiency exercises
