We're looking for a Principal Site Reliability Engineer to join the Observability Solution team. As a key member of the team, you will collaborate with product management, product design, customers, and multiple teams across Elastic to define and evolve end-to-end InfraObs experiences. You will deliver and continually evolve these experiences leveraging the Elastic Platform capabilities and coding agents.
\nKey responsibilities include being a contact point for other teams within Elastic, fostering a culture of mutual respect, collaboration, and consensus-based decision-making, and being an awesome person to work with.
\nTo be successful in this role, you will need to have a SRE background and experience operating large-scale production services with the help of Observability tools. You should be proficient in operating production infrastructure in K8s and at least one of the three major CSPs, as well as using Observability tools. You will also need to be able to use AI coding agents in the delivery workflow and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
\nBonus points will be given to those with experience as a user of the Elastic Stack.
